Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
, b& {  \7 V, m  k1 b1 R3 ^/ FThe duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
$ K# }) t8 H9 [! kŸ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
  G3 U; F- _2 i5 A2 ithe organization;
Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
+ M6 Y& C: X1 J9 v2 EŸ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
: U2 L2 ?7 @, O, Q4 E& b3 s( z4 usupport;
5 p. r' ^0 O& d$ x5 tŸ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
implementing staff wellness programs;
3 y( Q, e6 h1 r, n, tŸ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
Ÿ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.

; r7 [9 R; ^3 ^; j' {( AŸ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
education and experience;
6 F5 N& p$ }6 ~1 D( n% b' vŸ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
0 v$ T; ]. F$ E) V# B6 o& ~" a+ HŸ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
# R- G. Q. i, o3 A. }0 Lverbal and written.
Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
driver's abstract, and medical assessment.  Candidates will be advised of this requirement at the
time of interview.
