Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
1 j% O& w6 L7 c- U: O+ u# cŸ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
+ k# S: m) J9 b$ O, Rthe organization;
Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
0 B$ C0 a& `% KŸ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
) ~$ A$ Z" A4 ksupport;
Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
6 P! }) M" {) D) V: u8 T  Q" aimplementing staff wellness programs;
Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
4 [: g& V$ J/ b5 ~+ B4 L; Z' eŸ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
Ÿ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.
8 s- m0 p- M" G8 Q. P$ Q: \Qualifications:
Ÿ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
education and experience;
Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
$ \. }5 q& w# y. G) s( T: r  @Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
verbal and written.
9 W1 n; b& s' N* A- C: VLac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
' _0 |2 r5 d) \' o" [1 M$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
