Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
! Q2 @: `& n% Q4 R. {( DManager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
1 J: i) R' ^- H3 l  dŸ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
the organization;
" W  G  x; W- X# }% iŸ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
8 v7 l& h7 |- W& z7 {7 z" y( E, tŸ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
support;
Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
" a( s+ Z1 @3 Iimplementing staff wellness programs;
Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
$ _4 g. x' d( l" d3 bŸ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
Ÿ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.
. }8 t9 k. M) D! DQualifications:
Ÿ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
education and experience;
" C- d  s' o' k. y2 }Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
8 D8 o. q' z  j3 w; uŸ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
/ n! n& c" b# o; \verbal and written.
% ?5 D; {$ @6 JLac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
driver's abstract, and medical assessment.  Candidates will be advised of this requirement at the
time of interview.
