Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
& `" ^( p& Z8 p# M1 f% vThe duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
1 h6 |' N/ t* Q8 M* L, Lthe organization;
3 ^' ^5 }' T0 UŸ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
$ X' y  F( m! D' j# o: {Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
# y4 A8 J* d- |( G6 wsupport;
% i3 _$ u  p1 o  u+ rŸ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
5 e/ _5 a& Q5 v6 Y  _implementing staff wellness programs;
8 v. R) [9 s& T# ^3 aŸ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
Ÿ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.
& H! R; B3 y$ W# v: ]! EQualifications:
Ÿ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
0 |/ ]( }2 ]- {) ^education and experience;
. e# _- m( M5 E8 ?9 }# MŸ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
. A$ P% l& J7 ~% k; M2 Y, W* l- OŸ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
5 k& p+ n" B# V4 m9 F7 N6 NŸ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
verbal and written.
Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
