Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
$ X1 S9 w: Q( f! x3 iManager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
% p1 j7 ]/ e! h; m$ `The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
+ h& j2 H3 B# h9 y% fŸ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
7 R0 m2 u, C2 Y1 D# l9 M1 h, m& o* l$ nthe organization;
Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
support;
Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
3 G7 t/ ^% P7 D  s$ Jimplementing staff wellness programs;
Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
Ÿ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Ÿ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
education and experience;
Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
. j2 [6 U" r* w; a9 [. zŸ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
: x, g8 K  q1 z, m7 ^, VŸ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
verbal and written.
Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,

time of interview.
