" Z9 h9 \) a! QMajor Responsibilities:
•        Process research equipment design;
) x9 p- K' J4 e: K•        Pilot plant design with other professional engineers;
•        Equipment fabrication guidance;
•        Mechanical Codes/Standard elucidation;
•        Others.

" U4 Y+ @% x; K% W  mQualifications:
( w" Q* c- \8 I5 v•        Mechanical Engineering Graduate of a Master’s or PhD program within five years of application date OR graduate student expecting to complete Master’s or PhD degree requirements within three months.
1 }- g/ y& v3 v$ E4 ^•        Equipment design experience is required;
•        Familiar with mechanical Codes/Standards; knowledge of electrical Codes/Standards is helpful;
•        Familiar with CAD software;
1 V4 J$ n" a: |- N! `5 \•        Fluent in English, and knowledge of Mandarin is useful;
  K5 H1 \* j& Y( R6 E4 P3 D•        Fabrication, engineering and postdoctoral experience are assets.

Compensation:
9 z; t) ]$ h  Y/ N( c* L! ~Successful applicant of Alberta Ingenuity Industry r&D Associates will be awarded a $55,000 stipend per annum and a yearly allowance of $7,000. The total award value over two years is $124,000 from Alberta Ingenuity with opportunity for permanent position and stock option from the company after two years’ term.
