The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals.  The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre. : s- {4 r2 B! t$ a& g

( B1 i/ B1 w5 hThis is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday.  The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.

Job Responsibilities:: f  V5 Y0 n. O7 t* G
# K3 @$ F: D+ X! V6 y% f$ F
Reception:
9 {$ r$ q. N$ e. M1 T2 b•        Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as         required
. P8 d! E) c7 E) b# T6 k" n: M•        Answer multi line telephone system6 a. |. S2 h% y! A! M- Z

$ {/ `) e. H$ `2 q' B; K. DAdministration:7 M! u# J6 R# H- t- ]2 H
•        Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads
( t7 x9 X1 x' x+ m/ e) R; [! E•        File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits
' W" `- f, \8 }# J: u0 _) R•        Input and manage high volume of data
/ h. c8 X& ?: m- ]  @0 B( b•        Update and maintain databases! r  g: N5 C2 W& n; }$ c/ V" C9 @' v
•        Generate monthly reports and statistics
5 v4 e! B: W$ O; _; J, G* U" S•        Organize and directly support group materials and documentation, _/ b+ Z! ?, u, Q( F3 A4 \$ p4 X# [, q
•        Process payments and complete weekly deposits# B* S- U  _2 N5 A5 B# N& }
•        Write and revise business correspondence and forms
4 G8 J( ^: N3 t7 s$ ]- \% ?5 q* i  m•        Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail         outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors
1 d4 Z4 O. v, R•        Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre
1 `1 [) w3 y4 r" B2 B•        Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients
; M' \0 B3 U9 b; f4 u- f+ P1 J# r" G2 S' ?
Qualifications:
# _3 ~/ N$ F. @$ R, T  m4 A1 W( m" |3 N% X+ Y* ~) r. F
•        Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure
2 R! U# D8 Z! ^2 d2 z. K' \4 Q1 p+ w" l•        Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS
7 D! k  S6 Y. K; j•        Excellent verbal and written communication skills2 N& Y+ g3 j/ ?) s1 ?; W
•        Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work
* i" U+ T& `" G& S7 w  G•        Able to interact positively with a diverse population# o' |( n: F5 N
•        Strong customer service skills% a$ E; X1 r/ s  ~% l: t
•        Strong organizational skills and abilities) A: M1 R7 J$ e
•        Knowledge of HOMES database an asset: X. P* u2 E, Q
; m2 y. `7 Q. {5 C
