The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.9 S+ S0 O3 l5 W' w: w8 Y

Job Responsibilities:

• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required; H# `/ s# u* n( n
• Answer multi line telephone system, Q7 |( t% k: e' N+ J# x$ d
+ O5 r4 X( i3 E1 ]. Y$ t
Administration:
/ f7 _5 S' V, {) p• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads& W; C6 i& L$ z1 E# X, ?( C
• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits
: d/ N% x; `, V# a• Input and manage high volume of data) p4 d: A) r' X
• Update and maintain databases
( O+ g1 M* T4 o' y; U• Generate monthly reports and statistics
1 N, p* d2 g5 ]* D; j* n• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation! t4 C t" ^" q% w+ _' e- B
• Process payments and complete weekly deposits# p& l7 `; c+ B# s, n: {. e( I$ a+ |
• Write and revise business correspondence and forms2 e$ L( y2 a5 y& S; Z4 ^
• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors: {* ]# t, R' v) G7 P
• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre
8 X. H5 z* I+ q3 v0 D• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients

• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure) c3 a9 ~6 }6 e7 \
• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS . b$ |' W$ t. I) ]
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
) w$ F2 _$ d. p7 h# A7 l. g& O• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work
: Z2 x* o1 o! W• Able to interact positively with a diverse population: x* O/ o5 J; f$ V
• Strong customer service skills/ W, }, Y5 |6 O. T$ S- x
• Strong organizational skills and abilities
