 Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.. R1 }& {8 z+ ^; s i
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.$ h9 t: M+ I- s- K6 ]
 Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.

 Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.& I9 f; l$ [2 f$ ]( @
 Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.

 Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
) J$ [; Z% l5 w- E( z9 Y Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
4 Q# d% |& u# K- T Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth. T6 D5 E% _4 _+ m p+ ]+ i1 M
 Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: latch key, addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.) b x1 m/ \' T
 Knowledge of community resources.% P" z; g1 ]) B$ ^
 Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance." P2 D; [8 q7 U! U8 q0 W
 Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; with a combination of afternoons and one weekend shift per month; at an hourly rate of $12.50;
