0 z& t& L6 y4 ?, v& u# i+ E( y Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
9 E- v+ A" ^' s/ m8 ] Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.
 Completing required paperwork.
7 ?: X6 @  ^% z% z Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
, r) D6 P4 Y. R* _# w( O! a3 U0 Y Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
, \' [2 N( w6 x9 ~ Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
2 S! t! W5 y, h% i% A: B. h Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.
 Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.
( y# @* c% A% Y$ b. Y. a Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.
 Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.

' G4 E- G# I, F8 l
 Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
& ]# X5 `$ H) H& w2 Y1 V' ? Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
! T0 Q. L4 {' A) }/ \- @ Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
 Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: latch key, addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
' s6 ?; q# Y$ G* v( ] Knowledge of community resources.
 Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
 Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

# f' i8 t; M; P5 JThis is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; with a combination of afternoons and one weekend shift per month; at an hourly rate of $12.50;
starting January 2006. There is a 3-month probationary period.
