) X8 f6 U7 o% z$ p# c2 R Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
& C6 w" R9 d" F: P7 H9 h Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
( O A) w% ]% [0 f6 n Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.
6 r' G" \, q4 ]6 S8 k2 n Completing required paperwork.
7 E( X# {# Q8 e c$ }5 A Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.( c% @. ^( o$ `. C4 q: ~
 Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.

 Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner., f7 e' p p- d3 J8 q4 d
 Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.* F0 ~; I( ?2 I: k
 Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.

- P9 f3 n E8 _ Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
& [" B: A. | N6 H; V Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
. t" b ~) } F- X0 S0 D Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
# U! O Z$ w# U Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
" K" p3 z3 V; T3 Q+ l Knowledge of community resources.) b" Y2 _" x) }& H
 Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
7 }" y6 ~( ?# M3 [( Q Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training. ! ]( D1 ]6 }2 Q* [
+ D$ L8 a6 i" e% ], f1 DPosition:
; u N* ?; X9 A& q6 j3 zThis is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; evening and weekend shifts; at an hourly rate of $12.50; starting February 8 2006.
