Administration officials have long argued that there is no evidence school speed zones reduce the danger for children.0 b: G% |' a7 c. q( O; A

"This is simply adding it to our set of solutions," Rick Millican, general manager of transportation, said. "Council is not saying if they approve it, put a school zone everywhere someone wants on.3 `5 N2 V9 s' @- b/ d
