Administration officials have long argued that there is no evidence school speed zones reduce the danger for children.& ?6 F+ z- I# b2 O% l, u
% t; H' W- c0 [0 N) Y"This is simply adding it to our set of solutions," Rick Millican, general manager of transportation, said. "Council is not saying if they approve it, put a school zone everywhere someone wants on.
