City council is considering putting 30-kilometre-an-hour zones around some schools, after pressure from parents.

$ I) g8 J3 H8 d8 _; h! f3 R"This is simply adding it to our set of solutions," Rick Millican, general manager of transportation, said. "Council is not saying if they approve it, put a school zone everywhere someone wants on.

"People are in a hurry, people are stressed out, they forget the speed limit and our children are very at risk when they are going to these places," she said.
