■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
( V8 |6 E' m- l' x9 n/ S3 d' U3 r■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
4 T2 ]1 @4 E. ?* C6 l9 x$ FExperience and Education:
* v* T+ h/ H2 Q7 N0 Y■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
, K1 C* c$ [2 v- g( J■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
& A# l2 `; M6 Z■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
7 ~1 o: o/ j2 V' S■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
% O0 U3 H! u; s" }: n■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
' P( H6 }/ H/ ^4 I" i$ O■Must be eligible for registration with APEGGA.
