/ H3 q) Y% v2 c$ j: V: w# _; c■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations./ R( K; `" v! ?. H7 u' R0 q
■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.* Z& o- ]0 S' G; @/ t$ ~ u
■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
$ B1 k F ]& m+ L' Y, ^1 UExperience and Education:
' `* c3 q3 L8 x1 g■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable. j/ b f# w" l' f2 A1 x6 k
■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
" j9 O8 X* U7 @0 z. l9 A■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.) [) M# b7 y9 L* y, B% o9 ~6 z
■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;0 @$ F9 k9 I; S. L$ k% J
■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;8 O' k, |& X( K Q! n
■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.) M4 m2 O. \+ }! D8 d& x
■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.3 y: D& s* B. K$ l" l' V. t+ j6 G
■Must be eligible for registration with APEGGA.
