Assists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)
. p+ C% v. s2 m: cProvides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required
% }) ^8 K8 w0 i @- x! e0 |6 z/ t. ZPerforms other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed

Qualifications
: f1 j$ R$ j/ m VDiploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred- S* r3 ?9 o2 A7 S
Demonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred* o2 x; k/ t: t+ l7 z3 R
Solid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset& f) t) b/ h9 o6 b! G
Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred
1 ?' ^* B; N* C/ R& o: V, u1 |3 v% FFamiliarity with object orientated analysis and design and project life-cycle methodologies is a benefit
