Assists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)
$ E/ s3 \! w- r7 _# L3 g3 ?" zProvides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required
" O( p" i& a/ V$ Z) [" \7 W/ mPerforms other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed
Performs related tasks as needed

' J5 R+ [* ]. C$ O1 a8 zDiploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred
Demonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred
5 F0 v6 D( l. mSolid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset
Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred
Familiarity with object orientated analysis and design and project life-cycle methodologies is a benefit
4 ]* B: N# T: jRelevant programming experience using Java, C++, and other programming languages
Ability to adapt in a high technology research environment
Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational and time management skills; accuracy and attention to detail
