Assists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)! Y G3 l+ {) K" C. p0 g F- k
Provides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required- k4 {! d% c+ ^- W# x
Performs other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed* y/ v- }- F, X8 O) o$ m. Z

Qualifications% z& R( w( H( v( x
Diploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred+ ]2 W* v) G2 z7 B* g: m
Demonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred# Q" X. B3 _5 t- m
Solid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset
