Come to Sir Winston Churchill Square and enjoy a variety of festive, family-friendly activities and entertainment including Christmas choirs, balloon artists and stilt walkers.8 a! k( M# @9 {( [( P
; B6 L8 a( X1 FStart your holiday shopping at the new Winter Market, a special holiday edition of the City Market Downtown on 104th Street. Warm drinks and heated tents will keep you cozy as you visit more than 40 vendors and discover farm-fresh produce, delectable baking, and one-of-a-kind handcrafted fashions.& x' E: v1 m& t1 ^' }2 \" z

Be there at 5pm as Mayor Stephen Mandel and Santa flip the switch to light up the majestic 70-foot high white spruce, which will be followed by a spectacular fireworks and light show. This year’s tree will feature 10,000 LED lights, including cascading snowfalls, sparklers and stars, in a green and gold theme to kick off the 2010 Grey Cup celebrations.
