( F# z. Q, x( F1 A Complete comprehensive intake and needs assessment process and develop referral and case plans to support newcomers in fully settling and participating in the community  
3 K- u2 E5 U( e5 V+ N Continue to follow-up with newcomers, EMCN staff and other service providers to ensure newcomers’ needs are met     
 Provide holistic counselling to individuals and families, including hands-on support with accessing resources and resolving difficult issues
 Advocate on newcomers’ behalf to programs, institutions and service providers
# A5 m, u0 k# n4 p& ~6 o" b4 S Research and maintain current information about programs and resources available in the community
9 W6 s" K5 a% J& S8 o' x Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with staff of programs and services in the city and ensure EMCN clients access the most appropriate solutions to meet their needs
 Work as a team with EMCN staff to ensure holistic supports are provided to newcomers.

, L8 R1 e7 M+ N$ j; C Social work degree or diploma
9 \. q8 ^3 e& V1 @: D Current RSW designation preferred   
 Demonstrated experience with holistic case management and supportive counselling
9 ]( X$ V1 W0 h  n Knowledge of and experience in accessing a wide range of programs, services and supports available in the City  
 Ability to effectively listen, assess needs and guide people in a supportive manner
 Sensitivity to cross-cultural issues
3 Q7 C/ K: U' \) a9 L9 R# X Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
 Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
 Ability to perform variety of diverse tasks under time pressure.
