have banned gays and lesbians from working in schools and day care centers.

sexual harassment.

1 x& [7 s/ h; S  {+ p7 J* ^West was involved in a sex scandal in 2005. He was accused of sexually
abusing two young boys in the 1970s and 1980s when he was a sheriff's deputy
5 u5 O/ P9 k+ V! L) Gand Boy Scout leader. He was also accused of misusing his office as mayor
to lure teenage boys for sexual relationships. West called the molestation
8 e$ y$ O( R1 L; z9 Y* [allegations "flat lies". However he admitted to having private online
relationships in the past year through the Gay.com website (see ([3]).

West confirmed the accusations of meeting men over the Internet but denied
the charges that he had sought out minors (see[4]). Using the name "Right-
BiGuy" he allegedly offered internships to young gay men (some of whom were
just graduating from high school - none of whom, however, under the age of
! H$ Y' l6 @$ q2 Z$ w2 E- M' x  N; H18.

Ted Arthur Haggard (born June 27, 1956) is a former American evangelical

leader of the National Association of Evangelicals (NAE) from 2003[1] until

In November 2006, he resigned or was removed from all of his leadership
% L) U( M5 B% Z9 X6 S0 Y; |# Bpositions after he admitted soliciting prostitute Mike Jones for homosexual
sex and methamphetamine. Initially Haggard denied even knowing Mike Jones,
4 R" w+ }5 U6 l; t4 V9 zbut as a media investigation proceeded he acknowledged that some allegations
, such as his purchase of methamphetamine, were true. He later added "sexual
) }. I4 z% A# ~# Z# himmorality" to his list of confessions.[2]

. s( Q' ?5 u+ Kcounseling, overseen by four ministers. In February 2007, one of those
* u' z. R' P* ~5 R2 C- C* fministers, Tim Ralph, said that Haggard "is completely heterosexual."[3]
# x2 N9 e% A5 ^" ]6 W" {" PRalph later said he meant that therapy "gave Ted the tools to help to
' ?9 S( s" O! G! ^5 Uembrace his heterosexual side."[4] As of early 2009, Haggard continues to
receive counseling, and now he says that he is a “heterosexual with issues.

On January 23, 2009, officials from Haggard's former church announced that a

overwhelming pool of evidence [of an] inappropriate, consensual sexual
relationship [that] went on for a long period of time [with Haggard] ... it
wasn't a one-time act."[76] Haggard's successor, Brady Boyd, said the church

the time.[78] According to the man, he said the contact was "not consensual"
