中发生了多起同性恋丑闻，这些人都有一些共同的特点：共和党，基督徒，在多项社会
议题上持右翼保守立场，自身同性恋但是伪装成异性恋和异性结婚，为了政治目的公开

years, Jim West supported several anti-gay bills, including one that would

under the age of 18 (the bill failed). He would later admit that he
regretted voting for those measures.[1] In 1995, when West was a state
senator, he advocated the impeachment of then-Gov. Mike Lowry for alleged

West was involved in a sex scandal in 2005. He was accused of sexually
abusing two young boys in the 1970s and 1980s when he was a sheriff's deputy
3 y! P0 w. N6 t! L0 e, [! l4 `and Boy Scout leader. He was also accused of misusing his office as mayor
to lure teenage boys for sexual relationships. West called the molestation
allegations "flat lies". However he admitted to having private online
relationships in the past year through the Gay.com website (see ([3]).

West confirmed the accusations of meeting men over the Internet but denied
the charges that he had sought out minors (see[4]). Using the name "Right-
BiGuy" he allegedly offered internships to young gay men (some of whom were
just graduating from high school - none of whom, however, under the age of
$ Y' v* `" `$ r6 Z, z& h4 g9 e18.

Ted Arthur Haggard (born June 27, 1956) is a former American evangelical
preacher. Known as Pastor Ted to the congregations he served, he is the

positions after he admitted soliciting prostitute Mike Jones for homosexual
- x6 [3 E: v% D2 D: Fsex and methamphetamine. Initially Haggard denied even knowing Mike Jones,
but as a media investigation proceeded he acknowledged that some allegations
, such as his purchase of methamphetamine, were true. He later added "sexual
: X+ c) ^+ y7 t  mimmorality" to his list of confessions.[2]

1 c. V7 J, x; e; e+ m' q+ ^* iAfter the scandal was publicized, Haggard entered three weeks of intensive
counseling, overseen by four ministers. In February 2007, one of those
# }' n& {, T0 }5 u* x9 @ministers, Tim Ralph, said that Haggard "is completely heterosexual."[3]
Ralph later said he meant that therapy "gave Ted the tools to help to
embrace his heterosexual side."[4] As of early 2009, Haggard continues to
receive counseling, and now he says that he is a “heterosexual with issues.

and this is not about "opening new wounds" it's about a much larger issue.[
