05年至07年短短的三年期间，一向以提倡所谓Family Value，反对堕胎，同性恋，安乐
死和干细胞研究而深受广大右翼保守派基督徒和穆斯林选民青睐的美国共和党高层人物
中发生了多起同性恋丑闻，这些人都有一些共同的特点：共和党，基督徒，在多项社会

反对同性恋平等权益，自身却忍受不了喜欢同性恋的天性偷偷找同性解渴，许多人甚至

While in the legislature he served as Senate Majority Leader. During these
: c( Z' \0 O" P+ k" R( r( g$ ]7 e0 Oyears, Jim West supported several anti-gay bills, including one that would
have banned gays and lesbians from working in schools and day care centers.
He also proposed a law that would ban all sexual activity among persons
under the age of 18 (the bill failed). He would later admit that he
, E! k2 [' x  m" u+ Kregretted voting for those measures.[1] In 1995, when West was a state
: F, z9 j8 A1 J/ x, ssenator, he advocated the impeachment of then-Gov. Mike Lowry for alleged
sexual harassment.

West was involved in a sex scandal in 2005. He was accused of sexually
abusing two young boys in the 1970s and 1980s when he was a sheriff's deputy
and Boy Scout leader. He was also accused of misusing his office as mayor
to lure teenage boys for sexual relationships. West called the molestation
0 }7 l+ J2 j% H) h; s. [allegations "flat lies". However he admitted to having private online
relationships in the past year through the Gay.com website (see ([3]).

West confirmed the accusations of meeting men over the Internet but denied
the charges that he had sought out minors (see[4]). Using the name "Right-
$ l% `! ^) D4 q" q1 o7 qBiGuy" he allegedly offered internships to young gay men (some of whom were
7 h; O) a/ U1 @0 }( Q0 ^  F; {- @just graduating from high school - none of whom, however, under the age of
18.

preacher. Known as Pastor Ted to the congregations he served, he is the
  g, Y3 ^* d/ i4 m7 T+ h3 h( n( |founder and former pastor of the New Life Church in Colorado Springs,
: P$ ^- n$ z. m& f3 x9 YColorado; a founder of the Association of Life-Giving Churches; and was
leader of the National Association of Evangelicals (NAE) from 2003[1] until

$ @/ U* P" z3 y* I, UIn November 2006, he resigned or was removed from all of his leadership
& w  R0 a: D$ `8 p  [7 J+ C2 j; fpositions after he admitted soliciting prostitute Mike Jones for homosexual
sex and methamphetamine. Initially Haggard denied even knowing Mike Jones,
but as a media investigation proceeded he acknowledged that some allegations
  a9 J6 E8 b& w& r( o; K, such as his purchase of methamphetamine, were true. He later added "sexual
immorality" to his list of confessions.[2]

After the scandal was publicized, Haggard entered three weeks of intensive
& v* ~0 q+ k4 }5 Wcounseling, overseen by four ministers. In February 2007, one of those
  W; g+ J1 v2 c, M; z3 t9 F! D5 K, Pministers, Tim Ralph, said that Haggard "is completely heterosexual."[3]
0 l; P# ^& T, d6 ?: l. d! bRalph later said he meant that therapy "gave Ted the tools to help to

receive counseling, and now he says that he is a “heterosexual with issues.

young male church member had come forward in 2006 and that there was an "
overwhelming pool of evidence [of an] inappropriate, consensual sexual
relationship [that] went on for a long period of time [with Haggard] ... it
wasn't a one-time act."[76] Haggard's successor, Brady Boyd, said the church
