中发生了多起同性恋丑闻，这些人都有一些共同的特点：共和党，基督徒，在多项社会

sexual harassment.

) M, \+ @* l: k; V4 wWest was involved in a sex scandal in 2005. He was accused of sexually
abusing two young boys in the 1970s and 1980s when he was a sheriff's deputy
and Boy Scout leader. He was also accused of misusing his office as mayor
to lure teenage boys for sexual relationships. West called the molestation
& M$ q4 s  \5 Z8 Z, S: oallegations "flat lies". However he admitted to having private online
4 f: H& E5 H4 w6 x/ ~. Erelationships in the past year through the Gay.com website (see ([3]).

; S! S' y' I7 e  HWest confirmed the accusations of meeting men over the Internet but denied
the charges that he had sought out minors (see[4]). Using the name "Right-
BiGuy" he allegedly offered internships to young gay men (some of whom were

Ted Arthur Haggard (born June 27, 1956) is a former American evangelical
  H7 E! G: e! ^3 F+ A$ Mpreacher. Known as Pastor Ted to the congregations he served, he is the
founder and former pastor of the New Life Church in Colorado Springs,
9 V; q  x7 z; E* |/ {* xColorado; a founder of the Association of Life-Giving Churches; and was
leader of the National Association of Evangelicals (NAE) from 2003[1] until

In November 2006, he resigned or was removed from all of his leadership
positions after he admitted soliciting prostitute Mike Jones for homosexual
; x& i; {  w. [" W8 [6 ksex and methamphetamine. Initially Haggard denied even knowing Mike Jones,
: E4 p, {; g: ]- B/ ?8 G$ Hbut as a media investigation proceeded he acknowledged that some allegations
; s% W. Z0 ?$ E! ]$ f0 c$ a8 Q, such as his purchase of methamphetamine, were true. He later added "sexual

After the scandal was publicized, Haggard entered three weeks of intensive
7 f% \4 Q8 Z; y; s/ r7 w$ s2 Ncounseling, overseen by four ministers. In February 2007, one of those
$ {1 c6 t: }: h1 G' F9 Lministers, Tim Ralph, said that Haggard "is completely heterosexual."[3]
Ralph later said he meant that therapy "gave Ted the tools to help to
embrace his heterosexual side."[4] As of early 2009, Haggard continues to
receive counseling, and now he says that he is a “heterosexual with issues.

relationship [that] went on for a long period of time [with Haggard] ... it

reached a six figure settlement with the man, who was in his early 20s at
