West was involved in a sex scandal in 2005. He was accused of sexually

to lure teenage boys for sexual relationships. West called the molestation
allegations "flat lies". However he admitted to having private online
relationships in the past year through the Gay.com website (see ([3]).

West confirmed the accusations of meeting men over the Internet but denied

Ted Arthur Haggard (born June 27, 1956) is a former American evangelical

founder and former pastor of the New Life Church in Colorado Springs,

( ?5 E8 B/ Z) K$ d. j& vpositions after he admitted soliciting prostitute Mike Jones for homosexual
sex and methamphetamine. Initially Haggard denied even knowing Mike Jones,
but as a media investigation proceeded he acknowledged that some allegations
, such as his purchase of methamphetamine, were true. He later added "sexual
" j( U" X. z3 x+ }# @! Y2 j! z/ Q( oimmorality" to his list of confessions.[2]

2 Q+ G* g# m! w" l9 S  ?After the scandal was publicized, Haggard entered three weeks of intensive

1 p* r# u9 l2 c! n7 n# n9 iministers, Tim Ralph, said that Haggard "is completely heterosexual."[3]
Ralph later said he meant that therapy "gave Ted the tools to help to
embrace his heterosexual side."[4] As of early 2009, Haggard continues to
receive counseling, and now he says that he is a “heterosexual with issues.

young male church member had come forward in 2006 and that there was an "
overwhelming pool of evidence [of an] inappropriate, consensual sexual
relationship [that] went on for a long period of time [with Haggard] ... it
wasn't a one-time act."[76] Haggard's successor, Brady Boyd, said the church
% _) m, q, b8 l- G9 wreached a six figure settlement with the man, who was in his early 20s at
the time.[78] According to the man, he said the contact was "not consensual"
