sexual harassment.

% Y0 c1 V. i  R# ~6 f4 u1 zabusing two young boys in the 1970s and 1980s when he was a sheriff's deputy

% n$ C" P2 {2 y. B7 lallegations "flat lies". However he admitted to having private online
relationships in the past year through the Gay.com website (see ([3]).

West confirmed the accusations of meeting men over the Internet but denied
4 |2 x4 U4 A6 d7 Rthe charges that he had sought out minors (see[4]). Using the name "Right-
BiGuy" he allegedly offered internships to young gay men (some of whom were
/ \# @. d" l5 t. S, hjust graduating from high school - none of whom, however, under the age of
18.

Ted Arthur Haggard (born June 27, 1956) is a former American evangelical
preacher. Known as Pastor Ted to the congregations he served, he is the
founder and former pastor of the New Life Church in Colorado Springs,
8 K% K( `- q6 F; E2 f5 j7 X2 A0 GColorado; a founder of the Association of Life-Giving Churches; and was
) H+ E' O: {% q8 I2 z8 oleader of the National Association of Evangelicals (NAE) from 2003[1] until

In November 2006, he resigned or was removed from all of his leadership
& R/ \  g# D" t/ R" k# z4 j% z& Q8 `positions after he admitted soliciting prostitute Mike Jones for homosexual
sex and methamphetamine. Initially Haggard denied even knowing Mike Jones,
but as a media investigation proceeded he acknowledged that some allegations
, b- i. I$ L5 j+ Z- r, such as his purchase of methamphetamine, were true. He later added "sexual
immorality" to his list of confessions.[2]

After the scandal was publicized, Haggard entered three weeks of intensive
! e: o) ~- t/ s: `counseling, overseen by four ministers. In February 2007, one of those
ministers, Tim Ralph, said that Haggard "is completely heterosexual."[3]
Ralph later said he meant that therapy "gave Ted the tools to help to
embrace his heterosexual side."[4] As of early 2009, Haggard continues to

relationship [that] went on for a long period of time [with Haggard] ... it
wasn't a one-time act."[76] Haggard's successor, Brady Boyd, said the church
% w  [9 n1 r* y6 j9 breached a six figure settlement with the man, who was in his early 20s at
$ V: r, o; z+ y/ vthe time.[78] According to the man, he said the contact was "not consensual"
and this is not about "opening new wounds" it's about a much larger issue.[
