中发生了多起同性恋丑闻，这些人都有一些共同的特点：共和党，基督徒，在多项社会
议题上持右翼保守立场，自身同性恋但是伪装成异性恋和异性结婚，为了政治目的公开

He also proposed a law that would ban all sexual activity among persons
! h. l; {" B* W. Xunder the age of 18 (the bill failed). He would later admit that he
regretted voting for those measures.[1] In 1995, when West was a state

; |! v; m  D$ {- ]: eabusing two young boys in the 1970s and 1980s when he was a sheriff's deputy
  f- z: \/ `9 h  L6 {5 i$ V3 cand Boy Scout leader. He was also accused of misusing his office as mayor
; t8 e3 `9 R: p% k& j9 v; \to lure teenage boys for sexual relationships. West called the molestation
, D1 d, Y) _, @* Dallegations "flat lies". However he admitted to having private online
relationships in the past year through the Gay.com website (see ([3]).

West confirmed the accusations of meeting men over the Internet but denied
9 x8 u0 c. f- Athe charges that he had sought out minors (see[4]). Using the name "Right-
BiGuy" he allegedly offered internships to young gay men (some of whom were
just graduating from high school - none of whom, however, under the age of
18.

Ted Arthur Haggard (born June 27, 1956) is a former American evangelical
preacher. Known as Pastor Ted to the congregations he served, he is the
' e7 h) p+ M/ m; Yfounder and former pastor of the New Life Church in Colorado Springs,
Colorado; a founder of the Association of Life-Giving Churches; and was
* U( v& d  }- Kleader of the National Association of Evangelicals (NAE) from 2003[1] until
November 2006.

In November 2006, he resigned or was removed from all of his leadership
positions after he admitted soliciting prostitute Mike Jones for homosexual
sex and methamphetamine. Initially Haggard denied even knowing Mike Jones,
  J, C& V# Q& Z& n2 w: Fbut as a media investigation proceeded he acknowledged that some allegations
2 ?) O* ~6 K6 ]% P! G1 d; u, such as his purchase of methamphetamine, were true. He later added "sexual
- C' e# `7 a! C8 B# m. J5 Fimmorality" to his list of confessions.[2]

After the scandal was publicized, Haggard entered three weeks of intensive
counseling, overseen by four ministers. In February 2007, one of those
ministers, Tim Ralph, said that Haggard "is completely heterosexual."[3]
, B- c, h, t. g3 c$ u% }! xRalph later said he meant that therapy "gave Ted the tools to help to
embrace his heterosexual side."[4] As of early 2009, Haggard continues to

On January 23, 2009, officials from Haggard's former church announced that a
* f6 `  h1 L! T/ }young male church member had come forward in 2006 and that there was an "
overwhelming pool of evidence [of an] inappropriate, consensual sexual
% s( D& T; _/ C4 s( `: Orelationship [that] went on for a long period of time [with Haggard] ... it
wasn't a one-time act."[76] Haggard's successor, Brady Boyd, said the church
reached a six figure settlement with the man, who was in his early 20s at
