05年至07年短短的三年期间，一向以提倡所谓Family Value，反对堕胎，同性恋，安乐

中发生了多起同性恋丑闻，这些人都有一些共同的特点：共和党，基督徒，在多项社会

While in the legislature he served as Senate Majority Leader. During these
years, Jim West supported several anti-gay bills, including one that would

He also proposed a law that would ban all sexual activity among persons
2 P0 v3 m3 ^' K+ P6 wunder the age of 18 (the bill failed). He would later admit that he
9 P6 A% g& t8 y) Rregretted voting for those measures.[1] In 1995, when West was a state
' D. h7 p. Z$ j4 _! M6 usenator, he advocated the impeachment of then-Gov. Mike Lowry for alleged
sexual harassment.

/ b9 [7 B* m+ A" `) D$ ]2 eWest was involved in a sex scandal in 2005. He was accused of sexually
abusing two young boys in the 1970s and 1980s when he was a sheriff's deputy
and Boy Scout leader. He was also accused of misusing his office as mayor
1 k" W$ z! f# }* Dto lure teenage boys for sexual relationships. West called the molestation
allegations "flat lies". However he admitted to having private online
6 _! n& y4 P4 S2 D% ]  R3 u# q, Z4 ?relationships in the past year through the Gay.com website (see ([3]).

' \0 V4 ?' s. L4 x/ Ajust graduating from high school - none of whom, however, under the age of

founder and former pastor of the New Life Church in Colorado Springs,
; k% X: C% z7 k* s; S$ lColorado; a founder of the Association of Life-Giving Churches; and was
leader of the National Association of Evangelicals (NAE) from 2003[1] until
November 2006.

, such as his purchase of methamphetamine, were true. He later added "sexual
immorality" to his list of confessions.[2]

. V) ?' _  R  U0 Q3 q, aAfter the scandal was publicized, Haggard entered three weeks of intensive
counseling, overseen by four ministers. In February 2007, one of those
ministers, Tim Ralph, said that Haggard "is completely heterosexual."[3]
Ralph later said he meant that therapy "gave Ted the tools to help to
; l$ H/ O0 ]& S0 A8 M  kembrace his heterosexual side."[4] As of early 2009, Haggard continues to
; S7 _* t( W6 T0 Q2 h  f9 ireceive counseling, and now he says that he is a “heterosexual with issues.

On January 23, 2009, officials from Haggard's former church announced that a
young male church member had come forward in 2006 and that there was an "

wasn't a one-time act."[76] Haggard's successor, Brady Boyd, said the church
reached a six figure settlement with the man, who was in his early 20s at
