regretted voting for those measures.[1] In 1995, when West was a state
senator, he advocated the impeachment of then-Gov. Mike Lowry for alleged
sexual harassment.

West was involved in a sex scandal in 2005. He was accused of sexually

and Boy Scout leader. He was also accused of misusing his office as mayor
! C' E- @" f. J' z4 cto lure teenage boys for sexual relationships. West called the molestation
' G, p& Q2 r7 E" C: p! E7 @allegations "flat lies". However he admitted to having private online
relationships in the past year through the Gay.com website (see ([3]).

the charges that he had sought out minors (see[4]). Using the name "Right-

+ r8 i: f: q( b$ G1 Cjust graduating from high school - none of whom, however, under the age of

Ted Arthur Haggard (born June 27, 1956) is a former American evangelical
preacher. Known as Pastor Ted to the congregations he served, he is the
founder and former pastor of the New Life Church in Colorado Springs,
Colorado; a founder of the Association of Life-Giving Churches; and was
leader of the National Association of Evangelicals (NAE) from 2003[1] until
November 2006.

In November 2006, he resigned or was removed from all of his leadership

but as a media investigation proceeded he acknowledged that some allegations

After the scandal was publicized, Haggard entered three weeks of intensive
counseling, overseen by four ministers. In February 2007, one of those
0 W3 Y; E$ ^0 H; N$ fministers, Tim Ralph, said that Haggard "is completely heterosexual."[3]
Ralph later said he meant that therapy "gave Ted the tools to help to
embrace his heterosexual side."[4] As of early 2009, Haggard continues to
# T$ }: O! P& U0 {0 e/ [receive counseling, and now he says that he is a “heterosexual with issues.

wasn't a one-time act."[76] Haggard's successor, Brady Boyd, said the church
reached a six figure settlement with the man, who was in his early 20s at
