Responsibilities:
8 w* m% C2 n0 D5 ]( ~, HWorking as part of a team, this teaching and learning specialist will:
2 @- y; l' b" T Provide research and writing in the development of an online Blended Learning Model.
3 r) E; S' E( l" W+ Y2 S5 D Participate in initiatives of the Curriculum Development and Faculty Support.
& B, G( A% d" K+ j Work in partnership with a Content Expert to develop an online curriculum in Moodle. 4 y$ D/ o }6 k$ p3 X$ p
Qualifications:* c6 b" U: X# ?8 a; H
A Bachelor’s Degree in Education with teaching experience including experience in curriculum development. Some teaching experience in a post-secondary environment is desirable. A high level of knowledge in faculty support, instructional techniques, and/or designing and delivering online learning materials is required. A strong commitment to superior customer service and to a high quality teaching and learning environment as well as excellent skills in project management, consulting, and facilitation are essential. Other combinations of education and experience may be considered. |
