• Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT).

• supports foreign-educated engineer and engineering technologists, and

immigrants are highly educated and experienced, yet many may find it

Integrated training offers a blend of occupation-related skills, a work

The training components of ETIP assist participants in developing skills# W) x% o2 }) V
required for the Alberta workplace. Training includes:

, g0 I8 ?8 B1 B9 @2 SAs of 2003, more than 80% of ETIP graduates over the past six years have
) s0 `0 e' j( u! K$ P; pfound engineering or engineering technologist employment in Alberta.
) _2 S$ r, u9 ]+ R5 k% E5 wIn 2004, 46 engineers graduated from the ETIP program. At the time of; V# y, U" O/ c: Z. O2 Z
graduation, almost half had secured employment in the engineering industry,6 I1 k, o4 v% p8 n8 Z' m
with over 90% employed at three months post-graduation.4 M3 s! U+ [6 G! B: F
