The Family Law Office, a program of Legal Aid Alberta, provides family law legal services and representation to low-income clients. The Family Law Office in Edmonton is looking for one full time Legal Assistant to join its existing staff.

Job Description:

* L. i5 p. Z, D$ U4 e* J1 AReporting to the Administrator/Office Manager, the Legal Assistant is responsible for providing legal assistance and support to staff lawyers on client files.

The successful candidate will have a post-secondary diploma or certificate from a recognized legal assistant program; a minimum of 1 - 3 years experience as a legal assistant in the area of family law, or a combination of experience and education.

Excellent communication, organizational and computer skills are required to meet the needs of this demanding position.
