Rutherford这个区怎么样？

刚开始看房，什么都不清楚请问这个区怎么样?主要是家里有两个小孩，希望周围环境和居住的人群能安静和安全些。学校好像都是新的，一般新的学校都怎么样呢？
请大家不吝赐教，谢谢。

Rutherford在各方面还是很不错的。房子新，有小学，离健身中心（YMCA）较近，交通便利：上Anthony Henday freeway很容易，去大学和Downtown也很容易（LRT）。且没高压线。华人入住率较高。

rutherford区现在看挺好的，以后大学在那儿会有个校区，还会通地铁，不过地铁不知什么时候才能修好。这个图上有将来地铁的plan，

房子新？城市边缘的房子都是新的。。。
还有离机场近的区域不是什么好区吧？！

二者之间的直线距离是12公里左右，大约等同北京奥运村到北海公园的距离。

虽然中间是空的，但不代表就会受到影响。按照你的逻辑，温哥华西朝西一直到日本核电厂都是空的...

而且你在发帖前最好做一下研究，现在Rutherford南侧已经有大半完成的Callaghan区和刚起步的Allard区。

Allard 真的离机场那么近吗？但是好像还是有蛮多人在那里看房子。就好像vancouver 的 richmond 离机场也很近，但是房价还是这么的高。我觉得 Rutherford 的地点不错，但是就是房与房之间好像距离近了一点。看了Callaghan 的房子（Rutherford 和Allard 中间的区), 感觉真不错啊。

我也觉得rutherford那边给人的感觉挺挤的，不过当然有不挤得地方，不是所有rutherford的布局都挤。

但是那边的路是一定有扩宽得必要。

Rutherford 出行方便，学校就在附近，总体来说现在的新区房子挨得都比较近。不过也蛮好的，邻里沟通方便。 summerside 也挺漂亮的，好像印巴人多了点，将来孩子在学校里还能听得懂他们的语言。 windermere 也不错，就是公交系统及学校还不完善。
