Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. 3 ?) F7 Z" b/ C0 D/ \; RUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team9 a c3 K2 ~' {& V! Q& J( E
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
% I/ d0 y8 O/ W" h& I/ N# @# qMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).) M# C2 K( _: h- x9 \; I5 e9 [
# y" L" N& h* z
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
`/ G6 ~0 D3 J) rMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
. q( t* v3 y( b2 h' g E WSchool); q5 p; m# G. m4 D; E$ ?
Must have supervisory experience- j3 X- R9 Q, E
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system, q# Y8 ~/ r. e6 Y! _3 Z
Must be computer literate
( }2 ]0 f8 Q+ Y; Z/ z4 S+ [* lMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
- D. g/ @2 I$ e# C! a- dMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
; p* {/ @4 Q4 m+ oMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills: P+ U( b. L8 k% ~
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already6 h5 Y6 ^8 _) _4 A% C( }2 |
