FUNCTION:
This position is responsible for the design and production of a variety of communication materials, both printed and web-based.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
4 T) F) E* s, N7 k4 b* x( M0 D•        Create and prepare a wide range of materials for printing, presentations, public displays and events including brochures, newsletters, reports, advertisements and forms.
•        Liaise with our purchasing department and external vendors to ensure projects are completed properly and on time.
  q/ g: k: a1 ?" W•        Create and prepare materials for posting on internal and external web sites.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
$ j9 G  k' ?' d- A0 S: d. T•        Post-secondary diploma in graphic design or visual communications.
9 q- l- B7 {# f* A2 [•        Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of print production and web design processes.
•        Minimum of two years of directly related experience.
•        Demonstrated proficiency using Indesign, Illustrator, PhotoShop, Acrobat, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel in a PC environment. Experience in Dreamweaver, HTML, Javascript and CSS also an asset.
5 ?8 f  a7 A7 l3 y•        Proficiency in use of the English language.
•        Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
•        Ability to effectively multitask and work under pressure.
•        Willingness to maintain proficiency by embracing new technologies.
