Graphic Design Specialist

This position is responsible for the design and production of a variety of communication materials, both printed and web-based.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
; Z8 W  i+ n! W, ?+ a$ i•        Create and prepare a wide range of materials for printing, presentations, public displays and events including brochures, newsletters, reports, advertisements and forms.
% h1 T; k$ E2 E* f•        Liaise with our purchasing department and external vendors to ensure projects are completed properly and on time.
' O9 V2 ]! R8 C  M. u8 J/ ?( F•        Create and prepare materials for posting on internal and external web sites.

! C: C1 t& x5 o8 t1 n8 kSKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
•        Post-secondary diploma in graphic design or visual communications.
7 T6 u3 ?. K: Z- V3 B6 D•        Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of print production and web design processes.
7 \7 M4 X+ \+ Y  ~•        Minimum of two years of directly related experience.
$ g- T! L8 F1 |  \•        Demonstrated proficiency using Indesign, Illustrator, PhotoShop, Acrobat, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel in a PC environment. Experience in Dreamweaver, HTML, Javascript and CSS also an asset.
•        Proficiency in use of the English language.

•        Ability to effectively multitask and work under pressure.
•        Willingness to maintain proficiency by embracing new technologies.
