 Continuously interact with all clients in the Resource Area to ensure that their job search requirements are being met.

 Assist clients with resume and cover letter development, effective job search techniques, interview skills, and accessing the hidden job market after workshop completion.

 Engage with and build a professional trusting relationship with newcomers, treating them with dignity and in line with the values of the Bredin Institute.

 Encourage independence and self determination in newcomers2 H" i" ?; v! b# @( W) S
 Work with newcomers in assessing their needs and a needs-based settlement plan.( C- e: o( o! E# V# j
 Liaise effectively with a range of service providers, both voluntary and statutory, in order to ensure services are available to newcomers.

 Screen and assess clients’ skills and abilities through a workability assessment.5 m( v- }4 [0 @5 D# [
 Determination of which stream of services most appropriate for the client.1 [: h- k- P$ X& ^$ w

 Assist clients with obtaining required documentation for working in their profession in Canada

 Complete participant reviews with the participants
/ Y  A' X: b$ X: j& g Complete 90 and 180 day follow up with client after training completion
