- promote the Centre’s ISP to community organizations, businesses, educational institutions, etc. by in-person presentations, phone or sending relevant information
% M, C4 T2 D4 P- promote ISP in various media: newspaper, radio, newsletter, etc.8 p4 C4 U' D6 }2 M
- develop or update brochures, pamphlets, information packages, etc. for ISP
; Q& \* F: G3 M' n3 J+ t- provide support to ISP staff
1 Q5 {' Q# B( ^$ B q- recruit new members to the Newcomers Club and maintain existing members8 M' h: F6 ~2 d: l& {/ H
- promote, organize and coordinate the Newcomers Club’s activities0 K1 x4 }6 `! @; \- x
- outreach in different areas of the city where new immigrants are concentrated
. u' S; `! R: }2 D% \/ R- attend meetings relevant to ISP and outreach work to advocate issues and concerns of new immigrants

- fulfill the goals and objectives of ISP as contracted by funder
4 y5 ]; e% z* l: d$ S8 n( H- report writing, data collection, conduct evaluations, budget management, etc.
n! G* Y+ A. G& L$ x9 n% P- recruit and coordinate volunteers to assist with outreach activities! |9 o" V& m) O
- assist with front counter services as needed and assigned; f1 g' ?8 B u2 L7 ~7 D5 H8 `

) [" @; R# c6 d2 ^1 |- degree/diploma in social work/human services and eligibility to be registered to area of discipline; relevant experience with community services/projects/immigrants will be considered
1 { V: H. R; Y- knowledge of immigrant issues and concerns, community resources and services available
2 J# [' \6 h5 a8 [& N/ Q1 \- experience in working with community groups and community liaison workers7 v- l/ A6 o! h/ y+ a
- good computer skills using Microsoft and Chinese software1 a" E2 s1 v- X; H7 @6 l
- speak & write Chinese (fluent in Mandarin preferred)8 s; p: Y4 f3 @# N6 ]' Y* [. j
- good interpersonal and people skills
