1 h' k+ i, m' k c& Z/ N- promote the Centre’s ISP to community organizations, businesses, educational institutions, etc. by in-person presentations, phone or sending relevant information
0 [" ^: J, L. F5 X! \0 i. q8 x: h' m- promote ISP in various media: newspaper, radio, newsletter, etc.
$ [3 B9 p; P7 G# W9 T7 n1 |- develop or update brochures, pamphlets, information packages, etc. for ISP
6 m; Y7 q+ q7 `8 `$ O- provide support to ISP staff8 N: ~+ R2 O, ]+ x% }
- recruit new members to the Newcomers Club and maintain existing members
% b2 C8 @- W# o. Q- d- promote, organize and coordinate the Newcomers Club’s activities+ Z3 p% ~( C, R8 L- v3 Q
- outreach in different areas of the city where new immigrants are concentrated
$ b& s( ]: w5 a* _) \- attend meetings relevant to ISP and outreach work to advocate issues and concerns of new immigrants A4 i) h0 H \% z3 P
- adapt to a flexible working schedule to accommodate the program’s goals
4 t5 o; S h, `* x- fulfill the goals and objectives of ISP as contracted by funder2 s- I1 ^, K. _: z F# k
- report writing, data collection, conduct evaluations, budget management, etc." \: N* T* V! J5 Y1 e' W. n9 q
- recruit and coordinate volunteers to assist with outreach activities$ ` {# N1 f8 p e+ ]4 P
- assist with front counter services as needed and assigned

Qualifications. N2 W6 `# G, N& \
- degree/diploma in social work/human services and eligibility to be registered to area of discipline; relevant experience with community services/projects/immigrants will be considered
1 p: g, a1 l" M: s4 H+ f. \1 y- knowledge of immigrant issues and concerns, community resources and services available
# q* {+ H1 X7 \- experience in working with community groups and community liaison workers3 |' k6 L+ }! r5 U$ @7 X
- good computer skills using Microsoft and Chinese software
8 z* c9 H- P) M4 i+ p( x6 i/ k- speak & write Chinese (fluent in Mandarin preferred)
* y( R- Q/ \8 {% C- good interpersonal and people skills
; d) m5 d6 T$ V- good organizational and coordination skills
