Over last decade, I have used many window upgrade companies. Here are some of my suggestions:8 F( X! ~8 q+ y: @3 T# m2 ?& @ C0 v3 b
- You really need triple-pane windows ,not only for the sound proof, but for the Edmonton winter. The price is not much differnt from double-pane but the performance almost doubled;
6 X* Y, L+ C* K. r- I have tried many brands of windows, Hometech, Economic Windows, All-Weather windows, Jeldwen (by Home Depot). The best would be Hometech. All-weather is also good but the price is too high lately. I just had one big bay-window by Economic Windows in this April. Looks great but don't know how good for the real winter., Z9 \* s- P f! I. v
- Stay away from craps like Durabuilt or Sunrise Windows. Cheap stuff.- [3 C4 O- N+ r5 q
