Over last decade, I have used many window upgrade companies. Here are some of my suggestions:
& {! S3 N0 Z# B" M1 m5 ]/ V. Q! a- You really need triple-pane windows ,not only for the sound proof, but for the Edmonton winter. The price is not much differnt from double-pane but the performance almost doubled;3 T! I/ R `, a$ ^5 T" d
- I have tried many brands of windows, Hometech, Economic Windows, All-Weather windows, Jeldwen (by Home Depot). The best would be Hometech. All-weather is also good but the price is too high lately. I just had one big bay-window by Economic Windows in this April. Looks great but don't know how good for the real winter.$ \) g8 j8 ~* H$ }/ p) D3 i9 g5 `4 \% i
- Stay away from craps like Durabuilt or Sunrise Windows. Cheap stuff./ g- F: L" _, l% b& p R1 J+ ?
