Each session presents concepts through interactive activities that encourage active discussion and participation.- [ f0 h8 D: r

 Explore personal interests in arts and recreation

/ L! C5 ~: w# b) A* A* H* f0 mRegular Spring and Fall Group Sessions: runs on alternate Saturday afternoon from 2 to 5 p.m.0 r$ K: O6 _2 l3 Z
Summer Group Sessions: 2 consecutive weeks in July from 9 to 5 p.m. daily
; @$ o- ^( {; Q+ `: }! Z7 i 2 consecutive weeks in August from 9 to 5 p.m. daily

Asian youth aged 11 to 15, who are new immigrants or locally born Asian living in Edmonton or surrounding area.
$ W' f( Q1 A* @9 }" o; G1 p
- Y% p X, M/ kWhat is the cost of joining the T.A.N.G. program?: B6 \. _ t; T2 g$ \5 p7 g
It is FREE and space is limited to 15 to 20 participants per group.

Volunteer’s Duties:

7 Q0 @! a; P$ B9 {! f$ U8 k Distribute promotional flyers to schools, churches, communities and social services agencies / C' ^0 @% n$ ?
 Facilitate and/or coordinate activity-based function such as to host a gym day or sport tournaments or workshop on personal growth development
+ T8 `& d/ Y- m0 E, F0 ? Facilitate or assist in ice-breakers and/or other activities+ }7 f; F9 I; o4 t# [* i0 z
 Facilitate or assist in small group discussions, H& O N7 p, c( S
 Research activities related to the sessions’ topic
8 X1 L$ P; h! [3 k* }& v+ q Enforce safety rules during program sessions and fieldtrips
" r5 y( Y* {& j' n. ^ Assist in program planning1 n1 f9 R6 [3 P1 ?$ g

 On-going volunteers (we have volunteers dedicated themselves to the program for almost 4 years)

 Able to work independently with minimum supervision
