On September 25, 2011 the John Janzen Nature Centre will launch the Natural Treasure Program, an exciting new initiative from the Robert Bateman Get to Know Program.

& ?. W. p- \2 N, ONatural Treasure uses technology to provide youth with a unique outdoor experience. Participants follow a map or GPS device to complete an outdoor scavenger hunt by finding clues hidden around the Nature Centre.6 R2 t" ^. O" z( W( u5 u: L
+ _; i; j" e* \. |/ L" W" lNext, participants head online for some fun challenges, games, and stories, all of which relate to their experience outdoors. The program is geared towards helping youth get to know Edmonton’s wildlife.
