On September 25, 2011 the John Janzen Nature Centre will launch the Natural Treasure Program, an exciting new initiative from the Robert Bateman Get to Know Program.

' L' D7 r7 Q+ _) c0 ONatural Treasure uses technology to provide youth with a unique outdoor experience. Participants follow a map or GPS device to complete an outdoor scavenger hunt by finding clues hidden around the Nature Centre.* {! k7 Q6 T* j% m9 q8 x5 s
7 ^( d' M3 w I! L$ h% nNext, participants head online for some fun challenges, games, and stories, all of which relate to their experience outdoors. The program is geared towards helping youth get to know Edmonton’s wildlife.
