The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
7 D0 a  R0 v- f+ n9 g7 P) |7 ]. g4 l• Program implementation
1 `1 O  M( o, N% o• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
& ^- f( ~6 I( o" |• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
! @* |# \; |* Z% x& f, M% k• Behavior management
• Medication Administration
! ^2 m7 v- S4 N  x7 A• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

  J7 X8 P. W. [# z4 uMinimum Qualifications:
3 j( y7 P9 P! d& z8 c5 CEducation
7 i1 B; i$ c+ r9 v4 P8 a; }! o$ r$ m• Completion of a high school diploma
$ N; a* Z4 J- L, s! T: J• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
$ y; p5 ]2 Q3 F* @$ ]9 L• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
• Standard First Aid with CPR
. U; G. C4 e. H9 u• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training
( d! A# k( D3 V% F7 G  P' C• *Medication Administration

Skill Sets
# R/ n- m/ w5 F8 r• Good verbal and written communication skills
5 i- T& d+ Y) @& t: }- k• Experience with personal care
• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
6 ~5 t/ j2 F+ [+ V. z! aSalary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
