The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

7 \5 i5 S: K: K$ @+ m% YResponsibilities include:
" {  L- ]& |+ p3 ~  }) R1 m5 t• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
• Program implementation
• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
  C+ e! d0 K5 T• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
# Q4 Y6 A. C1 N4 G3 x• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
& x! g5 v( c& s3 Y+ m6 V3 ^4 w• Behavior management
$ P/ o% G  L1 N! @6 }& z- }9 H1 b• Medication Administration
• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

Minimum Qualifications:
Education
• Completion of a high school diploma
& i* Y) X  A5 B0 Y) r6 _1 j+ @4 A• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
* G4 j( E$ w& ATraining & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
3 [; F4 c  V& ~• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
% ?, V1 a$ U+ r1 Y  D7 A  g* {• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
9 H  l+ z, w' b( c" S' l8 \1 T5 K1 p• Standard First Aid with CPR
• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
