The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
• Program implementation
• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
( H; C8 a- ^: P8 Y3 z; s2 o3 X• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals

: |  E% F7 c5 Z0 w• Medication Administration
% w) i, e% ~; B• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

Minimum Qualifications:
Education
• Completion of a high school diploma
• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
+ _: N" H4 b% G; D) |• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
• Standard First Aid with CPR

( H7 [: `3 K% `! |! h9 q• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training
• *Medication Administration

• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with personal care
4 R0 g9 Q& K) Z, E" }7 J• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
