The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

# a' I8 B* J+ B6 S2 o3 w  v& f5 ~* F1 x• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
• Program implementation
8 Z1 e. Z9 A" e3 G$ j: `7 M$ C• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
- H  N8 I( m: Z2 j2 `& n; G• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
; t  V: l4 Q4 ^* d/ A, I# b6 C4 ?• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
$ |$ G/ z) I" s1 {) Y; m% y4 c• Behavior management
( ?$ p( z" W: i( x, t5 O% O• Medication Administration
• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

Minimum Qualifications:
) P: j" D, w3 }# f& |3 oEducation
• Completion of a high school diploma
• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
# S2 O0 \- B5 l8 {$ _• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
• Standard First Aid with CPR
• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training
% i. y6 [: T* H+ h9 _• *Medication Administration

2 _3 C/ _2 t' r' v" E& g• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
Salary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
