They have a good grasp of basic electronics, computer systems, fuel injector systems, and locomotive failures.

or replacing small components

Monitoring electrical components

Troubleshooting electrical problems

At least one year of post-secondary education in a related program of study.

Good eye-hand coordination

Ability to frequently lifting weights up to 50 pounds

Occasionally lifting weights up to 100 pounds

' X& Y9 R/ `# Y5 t  d, }* \Ability to do physical work, sometimes outdoors in extreme weather conditions

4 N# h( |1 |2 WRegular exposure to dust, pollen, fumes, noise and vibrations

Work is performed in a heavy industrial shop and outdoors as required with regular exposure to dust, pollen, fumes, noise and vibrations
- P/ x2 A) p! `9 l4 ?+ `Candidates should expect to work weekends and shifts, especially nights and afternoons in support of a 24/7 operation.

Candidates must be fluent in oral and written English and will be required to pass aptitude tests, an interview and company medical which includes visual acuity and hearing threshold tests.
