Scope and Purpose of Job
! X8 |  n$ e. l9 a3 XEmployee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.
: f/ J% ~+ k$ ~6 @: ]Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities
•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
+ I. J6 Z/ d+ V, s# n) y$ {, \5 y1 c•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
) N1 ]& u# X& L- B  H! r) e•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
9 ~( R% e0 X) n/ d+ p: zo        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
•        Assist where needed in application questions.
•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
o        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
o        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
•        Track and report all warranty failures
o        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
o        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.

o        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.

" Z" \! x  c$ e4 H: U8 Q8 Eo        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
o        Act as technical applications expert on development team.
•        Assist in Sales support & training.
•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.
o        In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

) i2 t; U5 [) D4 B( G5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
3 F6 A4 W. [$ p( z& W; HList of Skills/Qualifications       
•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
•        Proficient in software use and writing.
•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
•        Ability to travel worldwide.
•        Speak Chinese & English very clearly.
