Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.
; h& {" p0 J( @7 t" AMajor Responsibilities and Accountabilities
•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
2 S" j0 ^3 l  _6 t•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
o        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
•        Assist where needed in application questions.
•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
1 Y) a$ @4 x( U! ?o        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
! x0 Y. Q( t2 P! q7 Lo        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
•        Track and report all warranty failures
' x# R1 i' m  K% c2 j/ M' ^/ {* go        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
" r9 W, N8 y/ ^  T  R" V8 F1 eo        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
o        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
o        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.
) f- c( P8 v, f% K2 Io        Assist in writing and new product specification
o        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
+ f8 ^" Z7 o* [* v/ H5 So        Act as technical applications expert on development team.
9 o! B* e4 Q$ y% K! f& G•        Assist in Sales support & training.
! _$ @1 }; W: D, _+ x* u' D7 }•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.
$ E7 S5 Q8 ~7 s2 N5 ?o        In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

Educational / Professional Background        Technical School Graduate       
# a! D( H+ `- N9 h; ~Professional Experience (Years and Field of Activity)       
; \4 A/ w  ^! ^5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
0 w- G, v' V0 v) ]% d: K* qList of Skills/Qualifications       
•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
- N% @7 U: [3 |% d- U•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
) j) P* t% [  s) a! T•        Proficient in software use and writing.
•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
•        Ability to travel worldwide.
•        Speak Chinese & English very clearly.
