Description
; v' Q% K  D- T3 dTracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.
7 g7 d9 M9 k  cReporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:5 g; g, v  V" O3 _, L$ b
•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.1 I+ O& u: b9 f, x) t6 }/ O5 @, ]
•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
4 l7 l/ h7 [  k2 h•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
# {6 `* _$ j2 `! t* z) ]: P•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.; E: C4 f9 V% F% R& b0 H
•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives. 0 y' `0 a, C, n! V1 Q/ n8 W
•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.6 z$ K# ?' O1 a: j
•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.
' \* J* G8 r8 Q, M* C+ v•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.% C$ k$ U& H/ F% N, p6 n
•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
% i* o$ D' ]3 ?9 m•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.7 z' Q: A4 t, p" a0 Y
•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.' K4 G. b" `- O: {. }( U$ |
•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.
- N; y; F( X* d6 M9 S% r5 X•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.* S; G3 b, z2 A" i9 _
•        Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.

Requirements:; n8 N* z3 u) ^8 p4 _! G
•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
! u. |9 @4 q$ r1 M4 O2 T•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources. # K- p, y5 A0 S8 C' \
•        Strong Union Relations experience required. , ?" f2 _  ?: j) J8 x  K
•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.3 d* W$ R- w0 m1 z
•        CHRP Designation is an asset.# w) _( q  K* x4 m) W' P) m* ^
