Description
8 x5 Q0 M1 C9 K* J$ t) K# BTracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.
$ s$ |0 Q% s  DReporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:% x- ?* ?3 d; x# g0 j* m8 o! C
•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment./ N" J5 E; Q( V; Y- b4 D4 q3 [
•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.  t" U) y3 F$ e" [% t% B+ x$ ]2 t
•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
1 w4 n; ]/ E- @1 @9 K3 [•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.& Q8 D0 @& Y" X
•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
+ S  l- ~0 p2 N# t' _3 N, _•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates./ I( R4 O2 G0 K) T
•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.* f) s' ]" V6 r* _
•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.( l* f8 M/ I1 |
•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).0 j$ ~$ s* U* ]. N- S9 Q* ~
•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.
; g- R. x! y; j•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.
- N* q" k( w8 X8 o6 C/ `" B- c1 G•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.: t9 T: R9 g: f- J8 A8 }
•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.# J* b3 `- ~: r% h
•        Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.

Qualifications9 F  k8 N5 t$ Y/ C" h* h
Requirements:5 \; ?, b1 C. e$ ^
•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills. ' k  A# F) n& h. p7 q
•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources. " {  d2 A3 N- Y9 }0 ]+ O
•        Strong Union Relations experience required.
, K* E: j) `; N$ |. ]" R9 T•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
7 f+ z* @0 ?* C" K: d/ T( o•        CHRP Designation is an asset.
