1 D4 |; ~! }( t0 O3 v, K9 DTracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.6 U. j% @: Z8 ?
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:
, J& F! F4 X: |" u* ^& @•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.
& l4 A# `7 R" @" q" }% t# o•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.8 R3 |7 v# R5 u' x) j9 T* T% A
•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.6 c* D" `. Y1 D6 b* w
•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.( ?. q" l5 y" D) c0 Q2 d: t
•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
* }% B) y3 O- k6 d' M•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
, p- G- [8 i% o5 I•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.# ^' @3 X% z1 Y7 S- D4 s) V8 s! h
•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.
- J2 n& e. q! J6 M- h; ~" ^* w, h•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
. o, P( v9 P! b•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.
- d" }0 q, e$ R  d' B* G; B•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.  X, O$ m  q- @/ W2 H
•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.
- p5 b0 _6 V: H4 ?7 \•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.7 c% r* k8 f1 G/ W& x
•        Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.+ D9 Q9 @( J2 q: Z* g2 o
•        Additional special projects as required by the Human Resources Manager.9 ]; L8 A$ ~% Z; B

1 a( a0 \! P* `, c$ C* @Requirements:( v- \0 }9 c2 k( N# b" X  n3 [
•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
8 T( H. a" ]0 e4 s7 E•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources. $ r4 d/ o  \/ t; T# w
•        Strong Union Relations experience required.
. i1 P* e  f/ s3 d% ~1 R•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset./ Z- x+ M, x0 [: y6 a
•        CHRP Designation is an asset.; {  v: z# {9 I  h0 L. @' T) K) B
