Tracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.4 w! p# n1 T. {5 j$ l
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:6 a) s' @7 F9 p! W9 P( t2 u
• Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.
4 O3 ?# a, n0 T" W6 d {• Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.( |! H, K+ j2 d3 ~" U
• Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
0 ]8 W, [$ _8 n9 P8 z# p• Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.5 V# O' j2 [6 ?! C4 Q3 m
• Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
6 m- U* k) X/ c• Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.5 N/ f! Y* z/ d8 l
• Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.
9 O, Z' J& F8 J3 J! Z• Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.3 e! P) p4 w* \
• Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP). R' c6 [/ I6 B7 W
• Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.

• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.

Qualifications8 x9 ~% B3 N% O# L J! ]: G
Requirements: q& l2 r0 h! s( N
• Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
3 m" J/ T5 D1 C3 w$ V. }• The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
- b7 V" }& @( m& ]/ t4 l• Strong Union Relations experience required.
0 ?1 `7 S3 ^' {% i9 ~+ j2 @• Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
