Description
Tracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.
& C0 Q* Y# H( c7 X, n3 _, F) lReporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:
: m# ?, @0 H4 G+ v$ Q( O% ?/ k! {•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.
, ]. D! C. Z" F( c•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.
•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
  n% q" Z- x) u3 b•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.
•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.
. Z3 J& p7 `$ t•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.
•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.
•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.
. U# A5 y  f( }& k  z•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.
•        Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.

Qualifications
: U/ h; J/ B; o9 \9 l: w2 p4 r; BRequirements:
•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
9 I" X. {* _- |•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
! p2 b2 I( z' k4 k3 }2 q2 R; t•        Strong Union Relations experience required.
•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
$ K8 c3 Z# k3 p•        CHRP Designation is an asset.
