Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:

* U. { r, n8 x2 v• Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
' z3 F+ o& W+ ~; _% L2 g) E• Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
5 ^. p0 D4 F: w2 E• Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.1 q8 y( l; @: e. s q
• Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives. , K. E( o9 h# N
• Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
% V; U0 I" q8 S8 Y• Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.
0 K6 h# y1 \- L" N# T0 K• Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.5 h* z, \$ v; r4 [6 X5 H( @
• Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).

• Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.

Qualifications
' N' {; G8 ?3 e; V3 P! k O JRequirements:
2 L7 B) N! w; T& ~% |6 B3 a& S• Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
?* i( Y9 b5 A$ t) k• The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources. ; U/ h0 k! V+ P) N% Z
• Strong Union Relations experience required. : P$ E1 t" ^* ~ l
• Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.3 e+ R) f' W0 S( e
• CHRP Designation is an asset.. C$ n' X% u) q* p' U
