Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:& J8 X6 J& @$ r) Q" A' }/ o
•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.
) W, Z) p! u6 B/ s! p•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
7 x" ?% m0 s1 a, j1 u# y+ u•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development., X. h( x) V$ v; o5 @
•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.  W& a1 L0 L- J6 q* f
•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives. . h6 ]# _0 H- D7 T" F; {' B
•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates." l3 I1 C. ^$ p0 f1 t
•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required." P# n" ~- q3 [) h  X
•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.. D4 M: E) D, h
•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
3 T$ r# n/ G* P8 t  i, e" p+ ^•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.$ t2 K, H, O" E; b
•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.; p0 D" Z: I* S( e* P- j" a7 F. V
•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.7 I" V* e, W; O- z1 {  S' }5 ]
•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.

Requirements:
8 z* K1 e" I/ j, t+ V7 n•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
  I. P* F8 D; o% W2 K9 b1 w•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
, s3 T* H6 O0 ]7 a- N5 k$ y•        Strong Union Relations experience required.
; s/ l" V! `. e8 Q6 N•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset., T$ T4 @8 \4 f) {1 ~
•        CHRP Designation is an asset.) U8 z3 H8 a: r, I& n& D' u+ P/ H
