Position Title: Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker

Within the broad guidelines of Integrated Service Program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services, the Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker will answer a multi-line phone calls professional, politely, and directing the calls correctly; assist in clerical needs of the ISP team; assist with providing counter service and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker. 2 @. • Answer incoming calls and route calls to appropriate person8 a- R/ W! p3 _5 J% R. [
• Take and deliver messages to the staff of ASSIST" c( Q& T' Y& _' t6 v
• Welcome clients and direct them appropriately
. ]# Q7 c( ]2 K3 ]% p$ Z• Order and maintain office supplies for the front counter
0 q# f6 @0 [) c• Perform general clerical functions such as photocopying and faxing documents
8 G" H4 t, t: F* L, G• Provide assistance to immigrants and clients seeking settlement related services in the capacity of immigrant services worker, X' s. A. k+ v6 G, E- c
• Maintain and update the information boards with upcoming events p$ ?: e! k1 ]: I
• Assist the ISP team in reminding clients to appointments of workshops or other events

• Maintain front counter service files

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:# W/ T) s0 e4 {- O1 ~; }; T+ R- x( ]
• Excellent communication (verbal and listening) on phone and in person
9 ~6 o1 b2 o/ l Z4 x• Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese as an asset
# ~: {4 D9 c- X: C" `- b* g• Good English writing and oral communication skills
6 J( c4 ~5 U& m1 I3 r• Ability to work with newcomers and general clients, k8 D s9 f. ?) O5 l
• Microsoft Office operation skills- Excel, Word, Outlook {, {% N: r4 S. p- {, F* B
• Ability to address multi-task and set priority appropriately

• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced office environment

• 2-4 years of office and clerical experience
0 w' n8 w ?' h& k. E- i8 e- {• Receptionist or customer service experience in a fast paced environment

• Ability to work well under minimal supervision5 M2 {' l }8 [" w
