% I6 J1 y6 Z! d* X6 t& GWithin the broad guidelines of Integrated Service Program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services, the Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker will answer a multi-line phone calls professional, politely, and directing the calls correctly; assist in clerical needs of the ISP team; assist with providing counter service and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker.

• Answer incoming calls and route calls to appropriate person& }7 ?) G: `, u4 @& f1 X; {% c
• Take and deliver messages to the staff of ASSIST
3 ~) s4 \" Q# J# o/ \1 P• Welcome clients and direct them appropriately3 Y3 X8 m2 H! V
• Order and maintain office supplies for the front counter, D2 S$ U1 }: e0 J
• Perform general clerical functions such as photocopying and faxing documents
# C2 B7 g2 A8 N' l• Provide assistance to immigrants and clients seeking settlement related services in the capacity of immigrant services worker

• Assist the ISP team in reminding clients to appointments of workshops or other events, z9 `" M& {; R& M- }

• Attend meeting and training to stay current on immigrant settlement matters0 Q! }) Z% T- g0 |
• Maintain front counter service files- y# m% u! Y2 B( |1 _
• Perform general office duties as assigned

• Excellent communication (verbal and listening) on phone and in person
( V. B0 z7 H: o+ I) n& Q• Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese as an asset ~# X; f0 ?5 _9 W5 M6 B- H$ b0 F
• Good English writing and oral communication skills
0 d4 I) ~& _- y• Ability to work with newcomers and general clients* I3 Z/ b% Y/ T* f+ O) B& r9 P0 Q. Q
• Microsoft Office operation skills- Excel, Word, Outlook& u8 j" T/ a& S- n% s" D
• Ability to address multi-task and set priority appropriately , s5 V$ s$ v! j% D4 K, [
• Sensitive to the needs of immigrants with multicultural backgrounds G [8 u9 e8 U5 k/ t( @& M( c% I
• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced office environment

• Receptionist or customer service experience in a fast paced environment
+ @% W& R0 P+ D) k+ x• Demonstrate workplace maturity and professionalism
+ a! c' O+ N( ^• Ability to work well under minimal supervision1 ~) T! |" }0 ^% \- ?
