Effective August 1, 2002, Saskatchewan motorists will only have to report motor vehicle collisions to police if the collision involves:
! @$ W T1 c# C! E2 _6 d( d0 s* E$ r1) Any bodily injury or death;+ s! _5 G9 b+ j; ^9 l! C
2) A Hit-and-Run;, l0 K; I; }8 d2 k8 @. @/ V
3) A driver impaired by alcohol or drugs;4 A% N0 l2 K9 k% z/ D
4) A motor vehicle towed from the scene;
0 U9 A, G- o2 C3 C( ]6 `5) An out-of-province vehicle.8 d! r% B. S/ l* |8 `

Normally, police would be dispatched to the collisions described above. One exception may be an owner's discovery that his/her vehicle has been damaged in a hit-and-run, but the vehicle can still be safely driven to Police Headquarters. In such a case, the owner could make a report in person at Police Headquarters.# N& H O# f7 l' ^3 I* `, S
