Effective August 1, 2002, Saskatchewan motorists will only have to report motor vehicle collisions to police if the collision involves:; U3 T+ { E8 C9 O S" V% k; r. D
1) Any bodily injury or death;6 K ?* M2 D' v, U& ?* r
2) A Hit-and-Run;4 t1 j7 R8 O" V6 e/ d3 o' F
3) A driver impaired by alcohol or drugs;
* i0 p4 } F0 u, X% b/ M1 o- a$ c4) A motor vehicle towed from the scene;# q3 n( u2 [% G* n
5) An out-of-province vehicle.

Normally, police would be dispatched to the collisions described above. One exception may be an owner's discovery that his/her vehicle has been damaged in a hit-and-run, but the vehicle can still be safely driven to Police Headquarters. In such a case, the owner could make a report in person at Police Headquarters.' E, o" p- e2 G4 n, `
