Position:         Food Service Supervisor (NOC 6212)

Wages:         $13.30/ hour, 40 hours per week
Shifts:                 Rotational / day / night / weekends

% k) E5 j4 Z3 {Main duties:
8 [, v2 h3 p) b! n$ r•        Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food
•        Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
•        Prepare food order summaries for chef according to requests from customers
9 s  R& _$ k! G•        Establish methods to meet work schedules
  W5 B( d7 M6 m* j•        Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
•        Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
•        Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
•        May participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets
•        May plan menus and determine related food and labour costs

Job Requirements:
•        Completion of secondary education is required
3 q' l  d# J. J5 R•        2 years of experience in food preparation or service are required
•        Availability to work day, night and weekend shifts and “on call” requests are a must
3 x& M* g2 E; k( j" q& g% u& G1 X•        Viable candidates must  have a suitable means to travel to and from work regardless of time of day
