Position:         Food Service Supervisor (NOC 6212)

Wages:         $13.30/ hour, 40 hours per week

Main duties:
+ H* n7 m+ K, S; z1 Q•        Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food
•        Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
: J4 O# [, b% y# s; z5 @1 W" M0 c) Y•        Prepare food order summaries for chef according to requests from customers
  d9 ^/ y4 {: D•        Establish methods to meet work schedules
•        Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
•        Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
- t$ v( |1 t9 T* [8 c. o3 y•        Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
•        May participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets
•        May plan menus and determine related food and labour costs

- g8 C  }8 l7 TJob Requirements:
, Q& X6 }! ?, N1 x3 O3 F! N•        Completion of secondary education is required
  b* r1 H! X4 A9 g% i% e0 R•        2 years of experience in food preparation or service are required
•        Availability to work day, night and weekend shifts and “on call” requests are a must
•        Viable candidates must  have a suitable means to travel to and from work regardless of time of day
