•        Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food
8 D* t, V: H, q! u$ W3 H•        Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
•        Prepare food order summaries for chef according to requests from customers
! t: Q4 `: d$ T* l' o•        Establish methods to meet work schedules
•        Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
0 Z% D' H2 M5 f# }1 J- j•        Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
% E3 b) r% ?. o  D% h•        Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
( ~5 [1 A6 a3 S. D* }4 l1 c! _•        May participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets
•        May plan menus and determine related food and labour costs

; ?+ f5 c3 x0 a& @- B* K9 \•        Completion of secondary education is required
•        2 years of experience in food preparation or service are required
•        Availability to work day, night and weekend shifts and “on call” requests are a must
: e1 U9 F9 l. k•        Viable candidates must  have a suitable means to travel to and from work regardless of time of day
