EARLY LEARNING FAMILY PROGRAM

The program will be offered at St. Teresa Catholic School every Tuesday for seven( d. l5 M% u' Y
weeks beginning March 6th and ending April 24th, 2012.( n; s3 S/ l$ Z) Z8 D9 |, N

This “drop-in” program introduces parents to various strategies that can support
& }0 c# ~$ r" z0 rtheir child’s early literacy and language experiences. It is recommended for
O1 ]" G8 d/ ~/ J6 n9 f5 b2 uchildren that have been identified with language needs. RHYMES THAT BIND is an. p3 L: Q- r) V% a; o5 M3 k
oral family literacy program for parents and their children ages 0 – 6. It# L0 D/ x0 d# v8 u# D
encourages parents to sing, rhyme, talk and play with their children in a relaxed,
/ T$ T& M: v. {/ Sfun, and supportive environment.9 ?9 g z1 F* j9 U3 Z7 t
Each family will receive a booklet of songs and rhymes at the last session. No0 `7 A- p+ u' |# k" |! e
registration is required; a snack will be provided.& d R t/ y" {+ }
