EARLY LEARNING FAMILY PROGRAM

weeks beginning March 6th and ending April 24th, 2012.6 q1 [" {3 W4 `3 p. X" ?5 S
(No session March 27th, 2012)
) N' s: P$ a# _9 V% D% V) v- lSnack: 3:15pm to 3:45pm2 J' a/ i {6 O
Rhymes that Bind: 3:45pm to 4:45pm
" a5 U4 _" s, hThis “drop-in” program introduces parents to various strategies that can support0 m$ S4 m# ?' O9 @+ n
their child’s early literacy and language experiences. It is recommended for Z+ v9 n' P6 n3 \ E2 x0 S. k' z* j
children that have been identified with language needs. RHYMES THAT BIND is an
$ B: I e: g; F: t1 ]oral family literacy program for parents and their children ages 0 – 6. It/ n& w/ T; @0 K+ s: k5 V5 e, C
encourages parents to sing, rhyme, talk and play with their children in a relaxed,. w1 _7 G5 t2 y% ~, |( s( D
fun, and supportive environment.
1 `) { P) b* U2 q! p7 BEach family will receive a booklet of songs and rhymes at the last session. No6 d3 F5 X9 h: H# f2 X) Z' T1 V
registration is required; a snack will be provided.
