Job Description:
: O2 v; u4 \/ h$ U3 Q•        Complete and post staff schedules
' i4 F5 e2 M" D+ c) M/ C: H4 f/ r/ o•        Complete inventory and ordering on a weekly basis and adjustments on a daily basis. Complete all paperwork and adjustment on time and deliver to the office on or before deadlines
•        Maintain business records as outlined in the Subway Operations Manual, and as directed by management
•        Communicate changes of food formulas, standards, etc. to staff
•        Support local and national marketing initiatives. New windows up before opening on start date
; _! M8 H5 j+ X2 A4 C9 [9 h•        Ensure all local and national health and food safety codes are maintained and company safety and security policies are followed
•        Recruit, reward, train, evaluate, and terminate staff, supervising between 10 – 20 employees
2 Y8 `. y! H9 p1 `) R: x4 v( |•        Identify and contact prospective customers to promote sales
* X$ ~  |& `  T  q2 f•        Plan special events and promotions, participate in all events and promotions sponsored by management
•        Complete online coursework in the University of Subway as directed. Monitor staff progress on University of Subway
+ A) ?% T7 r7 y5 K; M8 Q•        Ensure bank deposits are done daily
•        Complete other duties as may be assigned by management.

Skills/Requirements:

) G! t/ d9 [5 g; G* n; CEducation: Completion of secondary school is required
Experience: 2-3 years of supervisory or managerial experience in the food services sector. QSR experience an asset
: s' l" C* S6 f; E. HCredentials: Alberta Health and Food Safety Certificate (paid for by employer)
Physical: Must be able to work any area of the restaurant when needed and to operate a computerized Point of Sale system/ cash register. Position requires bending, standing, and walking the entire workday. Must be able to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds on occasion
