Responsibilities
) \5 g) D5 v' N+ n5 Q3 t
·         Engineering 480V to 38kV switchgear

6 B4 |1 q' N, R3 X5 s6 s. R" L·         Engineering 2.4kV to 7.2kV Motor Control Centres including softstarters and autotransformer starters

·         Engineering fully integrated electrical buildings
) o- d8 Q8 X9 g
) q3 v# ^+ S0 ~·         Reviewing vendor drawings

% X$ E' B( O5 R3 L! J·         Analyze customer drawings, specification and engineering notes in order to create a design that meets the customer’s needs.

: g3 n% g2 h4 V  P0 Y) f·         Create a scope of work by identifying the company’s agreed to obligation.

·         Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.

9 t& m  V: o0 B* j8 z5 @/ Z·         Assist project management and estimation with draft budget changes, based on customer design/scope changes.

·         Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.

; z2 v  f7 A4 M/ a·         Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.

·         Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.

2 ~( N, s( Z" m7 T: |·         BSc in Electrical Engineering

  f: X5 M: u0 X% R0 G·         Registered with APEGGA as an Engineer in Training
( k5 W+ k7 x4 ~: t( m$ A' ~8 D! l
7 R' B. P% l: Z" m( d  [·         Attention to detail is a must
$ |- C! R: f, l6 y1 u1 s( _
/ D! Z/ q1 _& s6 \$ R  C·         Experience using AutoCAD is an asset

·         Experience with Microsoft Office is an asset

. O& R" F) k( H- e7 [. c6 q·         Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.

·         Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

·         Ability to manage the engineering of multiple projects simultaneously

Work Conditions

Some travel may be required for the purpose of meeting with clients, stakeholders, or off-site personnel/management.
