Responsibilities

·         Engineering 480V to 38kV switchgear

·         Engineering 2.4kV to 7.2kV Motor Control Centres including softstarters and autotransformer starters

·         Engineering fully integrated electrical buildings

·         Reviewing vendor drawings
& B- u7 U8 s# M4 z
) s" p0 i  K1 R* O7 \0 b·         Analyze customer drawings, specification and engineering notes in order to create a design that meets the customer’s needs.
+ n+ L* U6 i5 t$ c+ `) {; Q) W
·         Create a scope of work by identifying the company’s agreed to obligation.

·         Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.

/ a8 O" ]! ~9 C·         Assist project management and estimation with draft budget changes, based on customer design/scope changes.

·         Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.

·         Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project and the company.

·         Registered with APEGGA as an Engineer in Training

1 U5 n5 ~7 U0 S/ L
  O/ o3 [. A4 g·         Experience using AutoCAD is an asset

·         Experience with Microsoft Office is an asset

$ s) z2 O, y& A·         Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.

0 C" Q. X6 F4 I6 z+ H4 M·         Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

·         Ability to manage the engineering of multiple projects simultaneously

·         Strong interpersonal skills.

Overtime may be required to meet project deadlines.
