Hours of Work: This position works 44 hours per week.

Full-time journeyman to maintain and repair an assortment of vehicles with emphasis placed on preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities include:

" c j. [# q1 {Diagnose problems and perform all types of repairs to a wide variety of speciality vehicles
% h$ u* D. \9 aRequisition parts and materials, as required.2 T- o6 L: j7 G3 G' H* C& D9 U6 P. Y
Create and complete work orders, gather fleet information and input data into the computerized management system.7 O) `8 d& \- J5 L$ w8 ? T( V. j1 X: d0 t
Provide specialized training and guidance to apprentice(s).1 Q* N( {( o5 c0 n! {; k; V
Access technical information using Snap-on Shop Key on-line automotive support program and communicate using e-mail.& q3 s6 A$ b# C

Qualifications:

0 L3 A2 {4 x& z' J0 JApplicants must possess a valid Journeyman Automotive Mechanic certificate or equivalent recognized by Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training.% w5 `6 t% i9 x% @$ m
Applicants also must have a valid Class 5 Driver's Licence (or provincial equivalent).
1 C& M/ y- {% uPreference will be given to those who have current experience diagnosing and repairing North American and/or foreign vehicles.
