To acquire and maintain a solid base of customers, attaining a high level of profitability for the property. You will be accountable for generating budgeted revenue through development and implementation of a sales & marketing strategy.

• Solicit new business: Locally Negotiated, leisure, association, tours, sports, group markets and incentive travel through planned personal calls, mail outs and telephone solicitations.
• Develop and execute annual Business Plan and Sales and Marketing plan to ensure top line revenues are achieved;
# V3 u: m7 S; C# _+ `  X• Execute individual travel bookings, group bookings, small meetings and catering business;
' x+ }4 Q& J0 s6 e0 R/ `• Provide professional leadership to the sales team with a strong focus on achieving budgeted revenues;
3 e, _9 n8 o. m  K+ }9 y9 y• Investigate/follow-up on all Sales leads maintaining an effective trace system in order to convert potential business, lapsed business and maximize on repeat business.
1 O& I  K* ^/ [. e* _• As part of the hotel's sales team, assist in the creation, planning and organization of any in-house promotional efforts of the hotel;
3 x" A7 L6 s$ W• Work with National/Regional Sales initiatives;
4 Y! I. m1 X# V) s. |3 w7 f• Participate in trade shows;
! F6 p$ a- h% A! e$ C( C+ `• Attend public relation functions; Participating in community and trade boards and committees on behalf of the hotel;
• To participate in Revenue/Yield Management meetings; Increase Market Share;
• Maintain close relationship with reservations and front office staff;
1 f! n0 k7 d1 v# s" }• Ensure top level delivery of expected guest service;

Requirements:
•1-2 year of Sales or Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
7 P' s, Q$ k/ x5 d5 c• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;
• Ability to lead and develop;
• Background in the development & execution of business, marketing and sales plans and operating budgets;
• Proven record of development of sales and marketing efforts;
• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;
• Ability to work within deadlines;
• High level of creativity and innovation;
• Proven ability to manage multi-tasked assignments;
• Strong interpersonal skills and a working knowledge of ACT, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
