Fish作为食物原料来讲的时候,是不可数名词。我们i说I ate an apple 但是不说 I ate a fish(不知道在猫的语言里是不是这样讲),' h* g0 D, J9 c0 Z! Q
说I like seafood and I can eat a whole fish for dinner.还差不多, 通常就说 fish。这时候就是不可数的。: u: @/ X/ ]7 k! s
我们去钓鱼的时候,fish就是可数的了,但是记住,你钓了几条?one fish, two fish,都是fish,而不是 two fishes。 e2 h( U% P7 n- h8 L& ]* o

According to the Oxford Dictionary, both fish and fishes can be used as the plural form, but fish is more common. 4 W* E) W8 ~) n: f2 Q. W5 C! I1 y' E n: w! u: o7 A% y' }We use fishes when talking about different types of fish. For example, I caught five fish today and they were different fishes. 0 @- {& F! I' t6 N) ?9 G" m
