The College's Objects as follows under The Ontario College of Trades and Apprenticeship Act, 2009:& J$ K; }1 W$ i. t
1. To establish the scope of practice for trades.

4. To develop, establish and maintain qualifications for membership in the College. t0 W% N- x+ _3 F: F* L, O1 `
7 M( a9 d! d a" o) L2 U9 v4 {1 [5. To issue certificates of qualification and statements of membership to members of the College and renew, amend, suspend, cancel, revoke or reinstate those certificates and statements as appropriate.

8. To maintain a public register of its members.

12. To address compliance issues in respect of matters within the jurisdiction of the College.
