The College's Objects as follows under The Ontario College of Trades and Apprenticeship Act, 2009:

2. To regulate the practice of trades.

9. To determine appropriate journeyperson to apprentice ratios for trades subject to ratios.

4 N, e* K& w C. g' B! G12. To address compliance issues in respect of matters within the jurisdiction of the College.
