The College's Objects as follows under The Ontario College of Trades and Apprenticeship Act, 2009:

3. To govern the members of the College.

12. To address compliance issues in respect of matters within the jurisdiction of the College.5 Q+ _. x! M8 y5 R @4 \

1 z1 x6 n" `# D) ]. i$ B" Y8 W14. To work with other governments in Canada and the Minister with respect to the interprovincial standards program for apprenticeship and with respect to qualifications required for trades.

15. To conduct research in relation to trades.
