The College's Objects as follows under The Ontario College of Trades and Apprenticeship Act, 2009:

11. To receive and investigate complaints against members of the College and to deal with issues of discipline, misconduct, incompetency and incapacity.( y- u% ^( [: o

12. To address compliance issues in respect of matters within the jurisdiction of the College.
