The College's Objects as follows under The Ontario College of Trades and Apprenticeship Act, 2009: ~# }6 M, P% @8 a N' B
1. To establish the scope of practice for trades.

3. To govern the members of the College.

11. To receive and investigate complaints against members of the College and to deal with issues of discipline, misconduct, incompetency and incapacity.; X, q' g% P9 T

13. To provide for the ongoing education of members of the College.

- s1 p+ m$ p* f16. To perform such additional functions as may be prescribed by a Lieutenant Governor’s regulation. 2009, c. 22, s. 11 (1).
