Today Family Violence Help Centre is an innovative centre which operates with an integrated services model providing a single point of entry to comprehensive services for those impacted by family violence in Edmonton and area. The Today Family Violence Help Centre is part of a collaborative, coordinated community response.

We are currently looking for an experienced individual for the term position of Housing Support Worker to start immediately. As part of a team, the individual will be required to build a housing registry, develop relationships with community agencies that will address housing needs and coordination of housing services for individuals impacted by Family Violence.

; f" k/ ?5 e" bThe ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications:
 Minimum post secondary degree or in progress of obtaining a degree.
' }2 W' u) e7 p Two to three years front line experience in providing resources to clients with barriers or experience in programs providing housing to clients with barriers.
, z9 m% _# d/ m+ }$ h2 } Experience in assisting clients who have barriers to accessing housing.
  V/ R0 W: [' W; s Commitment to work collaboratively with all constituent groups, including staff, program participants, and community agencies.
 Demonstrated knowledge of community housing resources.
 Excellent computer skills, interpersonal and written communication skills.

) H$ F# _; z9 }  ? An understanding of family violence is an asset. The hourly rate is $18.00 - $20.00 per hour depending on the qualifications of
