•Develope scopes of work for subcontrators and RFP packages
+ y" M. K, o8 g$ P/ @6 H•Review all aspects of the RFP documents
% b5 X! i- r; Y; g2 W•Participate in the kickoff meetings with the project team and progress meeting throughout the bid stages$ B6 S5 _% U, A$ ?5 b0 K! p
•Coordinate with subcontractors to understand the scope of work
1 D h5 Y2 y8 X t- e•Develope a basis of estimate - Lump Sum, Target Price, Unit Rates, Create or modifty templates used in Excel to build pricing, I+ P. G2 x0 q6 a+ _1 i
•Research work locations for local subcontractors within the area and build relationships* k. F& ^0 g1 f7 ?7 l4 `, c
•Support subcontractor technical clarifications during the bid cycle
6 e+ ?3 o& U4 f•Support subcontractor bid evaluations and make recommendations to the Lead Estimator: Q+ o& |) }" _- A0 K
•Liaise with Lead Estimator, Project Manager, and Project Controls to present key elements of the estimate which will influence the development of a bid schedule and project execution plan |
