0 D6 f" a/ o) ^- A' E8 Q/ S1 ?- l! m•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services
: S( d: C5 C* F: o3 ]7 a5 z* n•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies

W0 U' _* s3 y4 f5 t•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting; S4 D% T& J2 Y3 ~5 n
•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.' Z$ ^9 I9 {) i/ a7 _: Z
•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential

/ J- ] y2 M$ r% w8 x4 }•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;' {0 p5 a m9 }$ {& j* E' P
•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;
0 ^6 g; Y: o1 J+ C# p; R•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
% a4 t% b% t6 M+ n2 n: m/ I•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential
) a( K9 w. m, Q•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.* s+ u; u3 t2 g5 v% C, n
