•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services & X' Y$ s. ^ R8 m: f
•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies
, v z0 B+ ^! t- D, U•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting
+ u! Z; j7 a' y3 l•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.$ N1 R. L+ z. a& P' z" r; e
•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential9 K) p4 b L5 e: L3 r( f% ?

Qualifications:# @6 j2 r" z7 q. S3 }! ^- q1 o
•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;
9 o. y' B, }) m8 O7 p; \* l•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;
0 t. k& o# a. P+ x, q# x! l•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
$ J3 P! Z- Z6 V•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential - Y3 W* @1 \! c. x" k' `% ^
•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.
