Key Responsibilities are as follows:
2 l/ ~8 r2 @$ J& K/ b•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services
+ ]4 G m2 k# \7 s& B•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies
" t9 q% ?. a+ F) Y/ @, G•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting9 B* l$ s8 M: i2 {
•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.8 o" A5 [- q5 z( Z6 W H* |
•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential

1 W9 d8 ^3 q3 y" ?" L, a/ F8 j•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;6 _% a: S) ~5 S7 p, Z& p8 h; [
•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;
* m" ^- c& v/ F( q•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
- W1 q# ]* g+ P: g5 \& i, Q4 u•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential
9 b* j. c5 ^: Q" R# H( N•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.2 a# J2 K9 |, a& P/ v [ x' c
