Key Responsibilities are as follows:) P+ _; X5 S, |6 C
•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services 5 J; m# y: U0 C* ?, c7 `; f
•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies* N/ v( C2 G; n# r: L$ G( I
•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting
) E% b1 Z; J: p8 H% ^. `- V; z•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.) v/ V- g; E9 a/ {
•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential

•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;
, m: p# \6 P# A5 d8 K" F•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;3 p5 ^- b9 }1 G7 h) T6 k. S6 d
•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
) R+ ^9 p. X* K: x•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential
: s a$ e: l, Y$ U# }•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.
