Salary: Based on Qualification & Experience

This position reports directly to the District Program Manager' [4 P. E7 P6 R; ?/ z

1 q7 {8 h' }) WKey Responsibilities are as follows:: D, `2 p: B  `/ d" P! g$ t+ E
•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services 1 [* l* N. b# i
•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of  up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies
9 o5 Z7 C6 u, j" Z: L0 O•Required skills include:  understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting% U( Q: d6 w* X# l5 I3 o) F
•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.$ c7 r% E5 S, L: F* t$ |- q. C# c
•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential; x% n( S. \& P" L. M" b

. I: |. u+ D! v8 a6 w' EQualifications:& k$ u9 u$ J% n" o2 Q
•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;
7 ?9 m: y! I1 p% Z' o: j% A•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;3 b* |* m5 u% p
•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
  l$ @) d& B8 a' v& p. z' s•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential
$ i! i% s  J- e7 y0 h1 n4 O•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.
