Key Responsibilities are as follows:
9 l8 y$ X C3 b* x9 z* E- q•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services # x; H/ T* I+ b \
•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies
+ A" n+ G+ @; K: f; J% H•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting# a( ?6 i) I* s) u9 c
•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.
1 H8 C0 S1 Q J•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential

6 F- M$ N8 A9 \8 Q- n•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;
$ d4 E& \3 F6 E/ B0 h' d! d ~ l•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;
4 t& T4 ]- [+ ~9 ?; j5 I( h•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
8 ^; d0 b6 m0 C/ n+ }- _•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential
4 |" [2 {- w# [# r•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.( [3 @2 _6 M0 \
