9 B; l6 I' s" b4 q3 l3 U' fOverall function of this position is to develop the East Asian customer base of the company. The purpose of the Business Development Rep is to drive new business in his/her territory, while maintaining profitable sales; N: B# h5 |- _

Key Responsibilities:
9 d3 G$ C$ e' r) s$ h( K) q$ i
• To initiate, follow up on and negotiate opportunities with potential customers for the intended purpose of ‘signing’ them as new business. This is measured through in-store customer sales. 

* |; _: T. w) m% }• To develop the customer base through cultivating leads & opportunities and be able to convert these into regular customers.

& `) X7 x7 ^; ?+ d3 ?6 J8 Q• To be accountable via daily sales call reporting in real time, measured against territory growth (non-tobacco store sales) vs. the previous year.$ g: [1 B* X4 m

• To execute focused selling in a large territory targeting the food-service industry, maintenance calling on high volume KEY customers in foodservice, convenience stores, small businesses, clubs & organizations.: t, k- k( ~1 q* @9 _7 |+ Q

• To execute the division’s promotional and marketing programs in conjunction with the overall business plan. Accountability via customer buying activity during the period measured through store sales.

• To manage all aspects of customer inquiries leading to regular store visits, including initial store tours.

• To build extensive product knowledge over various categories and be capable of driving sales in achieving sales & profit targets.% t/ H `1 p# d, h. I, f1 v: y

Job Qualifications
7 I+ q% p* k! I# L( ^- h1 p• Ability to speak English and Cantonese or Mandarin 

5 T Z, B3 }( t# |• Proven experience meeting aggressive sales targets.
5 C: E# W6 i& y" a( J$ Y
• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience.

% k1 x- |( k' E% Z, C2 e• East Asian Food Service and/or Wholesale sales experience is desirable.
; O. R; [% i! x& k
• Superior communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills. J8 {6 s! E: L: w

• Travel within the assigned region.

( ? y6 `* l3 |' ?/ S1 q# G• Comfortable using automated selling technology in a daily setting – Salesforce.com
