不是说发在一起就是一个词组。你应当把整段文章给出，大家有个context, 才能准确理解。balance是个常用词，意思很多，也可以作为专用名词。

balance还有个常用的意思意思，指存款余额，去银行可能会用到，请帮看看余额可以说：

in this case, it means "remaining". for example:
