(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By ( l' \; I9 S+ s2 Q0 t) m
attending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of / W6 v( s! i2 }' \/ h
information that will make your transition to the University community ; z. [4 e/ D* ]" H& M) ]

Orientation 2006 will be held on Monday, September 4th and Tuesday,

of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically

of directional information.

- `9 q1 {+ U: b L4 j- FBoth days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening
$ g& X9 j+ j& \. x9 g; x# o: Xactivities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend 4 r; K4 g0 v) L4 W4 M4 n4 P
a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday 2 y% e k5 O6 Q' n
evening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in
# G6 o: T4 e7 s2 I( kHawrelak Park.

0 S8 K$ e. M( O! v& f( J' jYou will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on 0 \: r" s8 n! f, Q9 h1 }
September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006,
/ w" Q; U8 e3 E$ Gand then continue to meet with for the entire year.

Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you . {9 r6 y( a( j: j6 J& H1 M4 P
to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from
0 s& R( u0 S7 Tyour faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your : Q& Q& }8 }7 d( v4 g2 Y& c
ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
|# R$ q {& ?/ z, I$ t' Byour ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece
p5 P8 t, C4 eof government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
. P' D$ N- h# n+ W1 X8 B! q6 r5 TComputing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic 1 E0 M* O/ \0 [; ~# L2 ]; W
Information and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and , Z- j* {# |$ ]; K- N8 W( N
bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the
" s4 [* f( ~( F4 G+ M/ @two days of Orientation).
