Alberta's Orientation program is now confirmed. In addition, we would

(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By : }4 n8 W) v3 U2 [; z& q# l
attending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of 2 {4 U. u, m: b/ M8 G
information that will make your transition to the University community ( K4 B- P' T" Y+ {

of directional information.

Both days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening
! U3 ]* N, u$ e" O( g9 }activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend
7 Q7 a- S: q# g' U6 sa variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday / M" @$ J7 k4 n8 J4 ]" W
evening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in
H: F/ t0 B7 s; U) E3 b) ?! |Hawrelak Park.5 m" a4 H1 ~# S8 f# n

You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on 9 j$ a7 l4 l& U1 q( r7 V/ r, i- J
September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006,
6 n; o, O, k$ _and then continue to meet with for the entire year.

Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you ' D% S7 d. W/ D+ I( o' T
to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from
2 K' j# E8 y& S- G6 C Yyour faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your . |7 g) q* i9 A9 V/ u1 [, _
ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process q+ J' x) v) U! o& Q+ n: ~7 {
your ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece & W3 n3 L" ^" u5 O% |4 b! N
of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
. K! x; J# V) j6 n/ XComputing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic
7 e9 O7 n& Q* LInformation and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and
: I; g' J* l+ Z* W" Y. |bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the S" F" e1 B1 j7 _5 J% z F) v
two days of Orientation).
