JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Support capital projects and network build activity with coordination, installation, and commissioning duties • Respond to corrective network problems, performing effective/efficient problem analysis, rapid troubleshooting diagnosis and prompt repair of equipment to ensure service restoral objectives are met.

5 n* [7 d& S) ?( J• Coordinate with other Technicians and departments as required to obtain maintain service levels.

• Plan for and implement preventive maintenance routines to ensure network standards of performance are met.

2 ^7 }6 w; c, ^" S• Perform cutovers and upgrades on the network as directed by work orders.

" Z2 Y- s# P, p$ }6 _• Maintain "up-to-date" site documentation as outlined by the EWO initiative.

• Perform acceptance tests on newly installed sites and equipment to ensure results meet design specifications.

% F  d0 M) V0 G; T% t• Microwave and Transmission experience (e.g. DS1, DS2 ,DS3, OC3, OC12, IP) • Gain in depth knowledge of key quality service indicators in geographic area of responsibility.

) Y% B0 d" B  O/ O4 U• Optical Fiber, SONET and knowledge of TCP/IP • Participate in retune activities associated with network optimization and build activities.

• Maintain inventory of required parts and perform regular audits to ensure availability of parts.

; {/ K2 o3 |! O2 F# g• Administrative reporting of Mileage, Timesheet, Expenses, Equipment and Deficiency ticket updates etc.

• Test hand-offs, RSSI, transmit level on mobiles, dropped calls and investigate any changes.

• Maintain current documentation of site status, complete trouble tickets, incident report and other required reports.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5 years of telecommunications experience.

6 C$ ?; ]; C0 K4 @/ y• Diploma or Certificate in Electronics from a technical institute.

• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

/ c* x; _! L7 ^7 H4 Q: ]5 s• Demonstrated investigative, problem solving, analysis and troubleshooting skills.

• Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.

The Manager is looking for a contractor with the following skills:

4 N# Y: q; s( u" m# ?7 ?" P-Telecom Diploma with at least 2 years of post secondary education -Experience working at a cell site -Must be willing to travel around Alberta (expenses will be reimbursed) -Experience with Spectrum Analyzers, Internet Protocol Analyzers, RFC testing and Microwave testing *The manager is not looking for Engineers.

# v8 h, A/ `# Y& b/ Y* a& H7 U*The contractor will not be required to do any climbing This is for a large LTE Expansion in Alberta.

The right fit for the team would be someone who enjoys hunting and fishing on the weekend. If the individual fits the manager will hire fulltime.
