• Support capital projects and network build activity with coordination, installation, and commissioning duties • Respond to corrective network problems, performing effective/efficient problem analysis, rapid troubleshooting diagnosis and prompt repair of equipment to ensure service restoral objectives are met.

• Coordinate with other Technicians and departments as required to obtain maintain service levels.

• Plan for and implement preventive maintenance routines to ensure network standards of performance are met.

$ T: {0 @4 z5 F) D# y0 g• Perform cutovers and upgrades on the network as directed by work orders.

• Maintain "up-to-date" site documentation as outlined by the EWO initiative.

• Perform acceptance tests on newly installed sites and equipment to ensure results meet design specifications.

• Microwave and Transmission experience (e.g. DS1, DS2 ,DS3, OC3, OC12, IP) • Gain in depth knowledge of key quality service indicators in geographic area of responsibility.

$ z$ X& y' n8 i: F' \• Optical Fiber, SONET and knowledge of TCP/IP • Participate in retune activities associated with network optimization and build activities.

# z- V( _! Z: z$ v  }6 Q. R- p• Maintain inventory of required parts and perform regular audits to ensure availability of parts.

• Administrative reporting of Mileage, Timesheet, Expenses, Equipment and Deficiency ticket updates etc.

) n: F; J4 U, }, Y% y) N# v( n5 J• Test hand-offs, RSSI, transmit level on mobiles, dropped calls and investigate any changes.

• Document activities for future assessment analysis.

• Shift work, overtime, and 24 hour on-call support may be required on a regular rotational basis.

• 5 years of telecommunications experience.

• Diploma or Certificate in Electronics from a technical institute.

& ]1 ?8 g. q7 {, X- `• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

% e1 t- |8 G( N5 T6 J5 A' J• Demonstrated investigative, problem solving, analysis and troubleshooting skills.

3 S! ?8 k( r. e* i-Telecom Diploma with at least 2 years of post secondary education -Experience working at a cell site -Must be willing to travel around Alberta (expenses will be reimbursed) -Experience with Spectrum Analyzers, Internet Protocol Analyzers, RFC testing and Microwave testing *The manager is not looking for Engineers.

*The contractor will not be required to do any climbing This is for a large LTE Expansion in Alberta.
