买房的免税额度

去年买了房子,听说可以在报税的时候有7500的免税额度,不知道是不是真的。请问可以随便报在夫妻哪边吗?

You can claim an amount of $5,000 for the purchase of a qualifying home made in 2013, if both of the following apply:
0 C! `3 ~; b/ `8 o; d  t•you or your spouse or common-law partner acquired a qualifying home; and
, u: V( w: i4 H•you did not live in another home owned by you or your spouse or common-law partner in the year of acquisition or in any of the four preceding years (first-time home buyer).
7 ~) r" D6 j2 Q: a: i6 I' FSo the non-refundable tax credit is up to $750.

这样看似乎免税额度是 5000 不是7500?是必须买新房,还是买的二手房也算啊。

    apartments in duplexes, triplexes, fourplexes, or apartment buildings.

7 j. b. ~6 A4 n& [1 MA share in a co-operative housing corporation that entitles you to own and gives you an equity interest in a housing unit located in Canada also qualifies. However, a share that only gives you the right to tenancy in the housing unit does not qualify.
