买房的免税额度

去年买了房子,听说可以在报税的时候有7500的免税额度,不知道是不是真的。请问可以随便报在夫妻哪边吗?

0 D  P( C8 U8 g; `7 Z$ t4 nYou can claim an amount of $5,000 for the purchase of a qualifying home made in 2013, if both of the following apply:
! d4 W+ r, J* \3 m•you or your spouse or common-law partner acquired a qualifying home; and3 G2 l4 r4 B$ ~/ v
•you did not live in another home owned by you or your spouse or common-law partner in the year of acquisition or in any of the four preceding years (first-time home buyer).
+ r) s. c' i- W, `& d$ a8 A7 |4 ZSo the non-refundable tax credit is up to $750.

这样看似乎免税额度是 5000 不是7500?是必须买新房,还是买的二手房也算啊。

+ j: {6 S! w4 @4 b' L5 {A share in a co-operative housing corporation that entitles you to own and gives you an equity interest in a housing unit located in Canada also qualifies. 5 Z1 W, P' r; `0 V) u3 mThe claim can be split between you and your spouse or common-law partner, but the combined total cannot exceed $5,000.

When more than one individual is entitled to the amount (for example, when two people jointly buy a home), the total of all amounts claimed cannot exceed $5,000.
