This option is automatically included for all applicants up to age 59, and can be purchased for ages 60 to 85 (provided the applicant is eligible). ) o- K! Y+ k" y- J6 d% wWhen the option is included or purchased, exclusion 1 in the policy is modified such that, after any applicable waiting period, a stable chronic 0 N9 Z/ Z& X" c* ~; y% q5 v7 ]condition (as defined) is covered under the policy.
“Stable Chronic Condition” means: a condition which is under treatment and which has been controlled by consistent use of medication prescribed by a “physician”; and ! N5 p. e- ~9 l9 J1 W; a* b8 k• there have been no new symptoms or change in symptoms; and/or 3 g3 K$ l) |1 `: K2 I' A. R4 f8 x• there has been no “hospitalization”or change in treatment, medication or dosage in the 180 days prior to the “effective date” of this policy.) x5 l" T8 X8 e1 B* g1 ~
If “your” “physician” has determined that “your” health condition has improved and changes “your” treatment or medication or its dosages due to “your” improved health condition, this does not constitute a change.
