Except as otherwise permitted under this Act, a person shall" o/ P- H# i; x! u* s1 _
not do any of the following:

vehicle is an insured motor vehicle;

vehicle is an insured motor vehicle;
: ?" ?( Z9 p! I5 t(c) where a person is the registered owner of a motor vehicle,

(i) to drive the motor vehicle on a highway, or( x9 d8 A1 @+ c6 i
(ii) to have the motor vehicle on a highway,
% w! z- R$ a2 X2 v3 j( ?unless the motor vehicle is an insured motor vehicle;0 D. Z, L3 E+ n. \
(d) give or lend a financial
/ R2 a7 S) o4 d+ T/ h; Aresponsibility card or a copy of it/ Z C- D2 b8 w: \+ e* Y- L
to a person not entitled to have that financial

the vehicle, that person is deemed for the purposes of subsection# l& W2 C5 m- i! d: G0 K
(1)(a) or (b) to drive or have on a highway a motor vehicle that is; `0 h" u' O4 t

A person, other than a corporation, who contravenes subsection
& m/ F$ d6 A' S(1) or section 52(1)(h) or 167(8) is liable," R7 t% k" Y+ G( l0 j/ z
(a) for the first contravention, to a fine of not less than $25007 A9 F& C! e' \5 l: K$ ]
and not more than $10 000 and in default of payment to: O' g# k( D# R, X
imprisonment for a term of not less than 45 days and not
. w5 @: e( X2 {! x6 {more than 6 months
8 C" `; ]9 [* ^. k }$ D) a2 U: t! h# X( [( Y
Minimum $2500, if you don't pay, you will go to jail for a minimum of 45 days. |
