Immigrant women and their families can now access a “household toolkit” crafted by a local service group for new immigrant families, through real estate agents. 3 C4 h7 Q3 X+ K3 ]0 f3 { j

In the tool kit are 75 common hand tools – like a hammer and screwdriver – as well a book on how to buy a home, a home maintenance schedule and other items. 8 J8 b; e0 v. L# O; t

“The tools are a symbol of hope for people trying to build new lives in Edmonton,” said Madeline Sarafinchan, president of the Edmonton Real Estate Board.
