: {9 e0 h* {( cAccording to RCMP, a 58-year-old woman tried to drive an ATV down an embankment by the Rivers Reservoir spillway, just before 8:30 p.m. on July 12.
" U9 c8 Z/ v) J% T* L1 ~
She lost control of the machine and hit a 39-year-old man, who was fishing. The woman, from the town of Rivers, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The man, from Brandon, was knocked into the fast-moving water and disappeared. Rescue efforts failed to locate the man, who is presumed drowned.

9 U* u- e7 ~# I( NSearch efforts and the investigation into the incident are both ongoing, RCMP said.

A Brandon man is presumed drowned after he was knocked into the fast-moving waters of the Rivers Reservoir Spillway on July 12 by a woman on an ATV. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Search efforts are still underway, as well as an RCMP investigation. (Nelly Gonzalez/CBC )
The names of the man and woman are not being made public by the RCMP.

5 u, x- w) `, ~! [Rivers is located about 30 kilometres northwest of Brandon. It is near the Little Saskatchewan River, which enters the Rivers Reservoir, also known as Lake Wahtopanah.

+ x8 p6 r) }  D% S3 G4 e是我的好朋友，中国人，老乡。他就站在那边钓鱼，结果被一辆四轮摩托车撞飞到河里，2天2夜，昨天找到尸首了。可怜他儿子还小，上有年迈的父母，他是家里的独子，现在要白发人送黑发人，好惨啊 呜呜呜

您说的对，ATV那简直是个魔鬼!血的教训，只是想提醒大家，生活在异国他乡的我们，为了这边跟国内的亲人，要好好珍惜自己。套用一句话:且行且珍惜!
