I believe there must be creatures like ourselves  
Dreamers
Savages

Builders of canoes,
4 b/ p2 I3 S9 t' I  a! QBlack smiths
Murderers,
, s2 \, Y3 K+ h6 _9 J, q/ {) PRisk takers,
My mind is full of curiosity and wonder
As I think of what could be.

I wonder what it means to be
I looked up at the star and smiled
$ s& b& s$ G) v/ S/ c: ^They flashed as they have heard all I have read.

Here am I,
A poor old Guy;
* H8 d5 t& E. F, V, U( I3 WLegs in a bonfire,
Head in the sky
* T1 `) o8 e3 HLonely, with the feel of betray
Heart empty and hollow
7 q9 u- k; v# m+ w, tAlone I stand
I am useless to all
5 t6 m- _; u$ n+ tBut I wish I were a dove
Giving myself to the world, to the fire
9 h; h0 W8 \8 W4 e* U  D: k- XI feel like burning myself in to dust and fly with the wind
- {& K9 ~& _! \6 FI sent prayers to my god
) f9 Q# W+ O. q+ g) T' b* YThough he does not answer
He bless me with the gift of hope
