Your job responsibilities will include:
•Check payroll time cards, production chits and other paperwork, calculate production time. Key data into system and transmit to Nethris for processing.
; W) ?' S/ T3 {! O) L+ U•Prepare monthly payroll journal entries for capturing labour and fringe benefit costs
" W4 S$ F3 t( ]•Prepare monthly safety and statistical reports for management.
5 D- u1 k: B  b' d; X: K•Prepare payment requisitions for group insurance, RRSP, etc. as agreed upon by the union contract
& ~3 N# H7 n- e5 }; a0 ?& v•Coordinate work related accident and group insurance claims.
•Perform AP Invoice matching
•Prepare month-end AP accrual

4 Z* a8 Z& b3 [5 q' a0 UThe ideal candidate will have excellent Excel skills and 3-5 years of payroll experience in a JIT manufacturing company. Exposure to the payroll system of Datatrack/Nethris would be a definite asset. Experience with union payroll will be an asset. Need to be able to speak fluent English, has advance reading and writing skills.
